Considering Gio was always going to make it, Osorio made the right cuts imo.

 

None of what you said convinced me he's a good option there against Germany.

Really don't want to see HH at DM. He always tends to cough the ball up under pressure and that leads to really dangerous counters. Plus you lose his greatest attributes that he gives you at CM.

We're on the same page, brother. I don't like him at DM either but we have Osorio as coach.
Like you said, we lose attributes he provides us as a CM

Osorio is going to go down as an ultimate troll. He's going to line up one squad for all 3 group games, play everyone in their natural position, Mexico will come out of the group on top...

I hope this means both Reyes and Guardado will be 100% for the WC. If not in the first match vs Germany, hopefully in the 2nd and 3rd match.

Don't want them being rushed and getting injured again during a game. We need all the help we can get.

 

I think the bigger doubt as it stands is Reyes. Guardado had surgery on May 17th and apparently it had a 10 to 15 day recovery time. Even though he might have played on this past game I'm not surprised that they didn't risk him.

Reyes apparently had a thigh injury that would take four weeks to heal. My call is that the staff isn't taking any chances and is not rushing players.

 

Sucks for Gutierrez but Guardado is much better when fit.

Ayala looked composed against Wales and he'd be a better option that Alanis.
