Gotta wait and see how it plays out just like all the other matches.

The World Cup can't come soon enough.

Mexico wasn't so bad against scotland. I think they hit the post 2 or 3 times. Should have been 3-0 or 3-1. The problem with them is that they tend to rely on shots from outside the area. If an opponent shuts down the area just outside the box and doesn't let the midfielders shoot, they'll find it difficult to find other ways to score.

It feels like Mexico is missing a true center forward, like how J. Borgetti used to do.

South Korea losing to Bosnia does not bode well for them, they will be lucky to get one point from this group.

Sadly, we are still testing out players and formations. We got unlucky with injuries which derailed plans but either way we aren't in great shape right now. But as with any world cup, anything can happen and I still want us to succeed, but yes highly unlikely we do well.

I guess we'll see how our match vs Bolivia and the closed match vs Senegal go.

According to FiveThirtyEight, here are their group F predictions and percentages of who advances:
    Germany: 82.5% chance of advancing
    Mexico: 51.0% chance of advancing
    Sweden: 48.2% chance of advancing
South Korea: 18.3% chance of advancing.

I'm actually surprised at how close it is between Mexico and Sweden.

Sane didn't make it. That is a surprise. You would think that, if nothing else he would be valuable for his pace as a late-match substitute.

Petersen, Tah and Leno also cut. No real surprises there, although it means that Neuer and not ter Stegen will be the #1 keeper.

Sane will probably be back on the team by Friday, after Reus breaks his leg walking to the mailbox. :(

Sane has been performing horrible for the NT so it's no surprise. Whether it is not everything is tailored for him at the NT like under Guardiola or if it the long season in England - it is deserved

Ok. This "united by football" is also BS. Every team is united by football.

Agreed. "Everything else divides us, but at least football unites us!"
France and Belgium could surely share the slogan...
