No seriously guys pls no seri. What happens on away games?

Emery....needs to tear down our def!
Mustafi out, Holden out . Chambers out..they can go play for Southampton.
.+.Monrealbad cannot start every game and I'm tired of him getting beat in every big match and tired of his ball watching.

Just saw sokratas get schooled by LAFc...pass on that guy too.
The old Danish guy from juv...pass on him too.

I want epl experienced defenders...shit I'll take the chelsea guy Cahill at this point.

How about Amos? He'd be a good DM, right?

Can we at least keep Avasarala?

We're signing Sokratis which is kind of a weird one to me. 15 mil is not that expensive but he's also old and not that good...

We cannot underestimate how much proper coaching and tactics can add to seemingly lost and mediocre players.

Is this in reference to Sokratis or our own players?

Are you suggesting that Sokratis hasn't had proper coaching at BVB?

    You sound like my wife...
    "That's a really good price"
"But we don't really have the money for that"
"Yeah but it's a really good price"
    Sigh.

I am refrencing our seemingly terible players. Hopefully we aren’t buying fix me up players ... doh!

I mean we do have the money for him if we're saying that our 70 mil transfer budget is amortized fees

Just saw that it is true and apparently Arsenal made a late move. Disappointing. I would have thought the fee would have been at least 50m. Can we blame Arsene for dithering on this one?

With the addition of Fabinho and Keita and the rumored move for Fakir, where is Ox going to fit next year?

Yep - reflected in their seasons performance as well.

    I am mixed about it,

He was decent at one stage but its hard to know his level as BVB have been all over the place this season.

I can understand the logic of simply buying a tough experienced centre back as that aspect is in crisis so we need someone to drop straight in.

This is where Wumger spectacularly failed last year when he dithered over Evans (or someone similar)

I still believe Evans would have been better than any of our CBs outside of Kos

Signing Sokratis for 15m would be a farce. We can have a young and inexperienced CB pairing that matures over the next few years. I don't see the value in having a 30 year old make mistakes next to a 22 year old making mistakes.

If we want to bolster our team with experience they need to come cheap/free (Lichsteiner). 15-20m might seem cheap in 2018, but that would be quarter of our budget on a player who does next to nothing for the team.
