Especially when they run a minimum of 5 miles a game... Wish Juve would just go grab Cristante who had a better season then any of Juves mids and he played for a much weaker team.

no way they sell him and if they do, no way they sell him to us.... Hes too important to him and him being there is crucial to helping keep Donnarumma around... Donnarumma is more likely to be sold and would help more,

the kid is more hype then product but ofc Milan would love to keep donna because it makes them look very bad if he jets on them after all the walking on eggshells for him. He also has potential to be sold for a lot more in the future and ofc they rather sell him at a bigger profit if they want him.

AC is most likely going to be selling guys who didnt contribute much last year first and then sell quality guys as a last resort.

Brits traditionally never did all that well in Italy but I’m wondering how Gareth Bale would be on Juventus? He is a different type of player and doesn’t really play the traditional English role or style. As he never plays, I’m assuming he is on the transfer block even though he scored twice yesterday.

he is somewhat injury prone so I see no reason to take that gamble. Costa has been electric and Pjaca is returning. He also has a big ego and would probaly clash with team mates.

a likely transfer situation would be for Bale to head over to a team that has surplus money and can afford to take that risk. United would be a ideal spot, but Jose and him will just repeat what he is going thru now.

I see him heading over to PSG if neymar leaves, back to spurs, he could wind up at Athletico if they sell Greizman. He wants to play every day and probaly wont go to a team that doesnt promise that. Perhaps Chelsea will scoop him up if they sell Victor Moses.

The only thing Juve need is two new midfielders( one starting) and for Max to let the bench guys play more often. That is pretty much it. When I see rumors such as Martial coming here, It really is unsettling... he is not a good player anyways and trouble off the field.

Welp, this Vidal-back thingy might actually have some legs, if Arturo has anything to say about it.

After mustering the stomach to rewatch the first half of the 2017 final and the entirety of the 2nd leg this year vs Real, Juve are so so close.

Juve were PHENOMENAL in the first half of 2017 final. That game was decided by an absolutely fluke deflection goal from 35 yards away followed up by a ridiculous red card. For as good as Real have been, they have received so many lucky breaks in these finals.

With Emre Can, Caldara, and Spinazola (injured) arriving, Costa and Bernardeschi playing their 2nd season at Juve, Juve could do little the rest of the summer and may be strong enough to match Real in the CL next year.

Att: Higuaín, Costa, Dybala, Mandzukic, Bernardeschi, Cuadrado, Pjaca
Mid: Pjanic, Khedira, Matuidi, Can, Bentancur, Marchisio
Def: Chiellini, Benatia, Rugani, Caldara, Barzagli
    LB: Sandro, Spinazola
    RB: Mds

All Juve need is a starting RB, back up LB (Darmian due to injury), back up GK (Perin), and maybe one "fantasy/opportunity" signing and that's it. On paper after watching Juve go up against Real in that 2nd leg in Spain, Juve are on par with Barca/Real. Next year it should solely be about getting over the hump. They are so close!

We could have done it this year had Real not gotten their perennial referee push and had we not played so negatively after the equalizer in the second leg. This Real side was vulnerable.

Everyone that played them said that this year.

    And yet....there they are again!

The rest of Europe with Real is starting to sound like the rest of Italy with Juventus.

And no I am not ignoring all the favorable decisions they get cause they really do get them, unlike us in Italy, but still, it is an amazing run they are on.

Unfortunately, if the stories on what Max wants are to be believed, some of those players are prolly own the way out. So we will have to buy more replacements.

Howedes has returned to Schalke and will probably stay in the Bundesliga next season.

Perin is expected to be at JMedical on June 5th to undergo his medical tests. Juve and Genoa will discuss who will be included in the deal, it's between Kean and Mandragora. There are two obstacles for Sturaro, his high salary and his European ambitions.

Emre Can is expected to arrive in Italy soon for his medical.

The Vidal to Juve rumors have picked up steam, one report states that Vidal has expressed interests to move back to Juve.

Romeo Agresti has stated that Icardi is on Juve's radar and is considered their dream signing.

We got rid of Vidal for a reason, highly doubt Marotta would re-sign him

That wouldn't be very smart though, despite Pjanic being terrible he's our only creative midfielder. We would need to spend big bucks to get Vidal and a replacement

Even though this might be controversial, why not throw some money at Balotelli to bring him here? He would be free and if he doesn't work out we dump him.

This should have been done a few years back when we had players who I feel could control him like Pirlo and Buffon. Still think he would be worth it atleast we still have Marchisio, Chiello, and Barzagli to play that role....

Turnover is fine as long as quality players are brought in to replace anyone that departs. Aside from that aspect of the mercato, my main observation is that Juve's squad only lack few pieces after the additions of Caldara, Spinazola, Pjaca, and possibly Can (starting RB, back up LB, maybe a creative midfielder, 2nd GK).

The attack is stacked while the midfield with Can and another year of development for Bentancur is very full. The defense has plenty of CBs and really only are short in the LB/RB positions. Juve's overall squad quality when considering the depth rivals that of Madrid, Bayern, and Barca (to a lesser degree). The only difference is that Real still have the best starting eleven while Barca have Messi.

What concerns me about turnover this year, is that we seem to be losing almost the entirety of our Juve Core.

Buffon is gone, Licht is gone, Asa is gone. Those are players that have been here for 7, 7, 6 Scudetti.

Now if the rumors about Marchisio leaving too are correct, that will leave you with only Giorgio and Barzag who will assume a super sub role left from our record setting side.

Who is going to implant the Juve DNA in all the newcomers? that is not something you are born with (unless you are someone like Claudio who literally grew up at the club), it has to be learned and to be learned you need "teachers" on the team.

Since this is the real transition year, it was important to keep Max for this reason. If he leaves after next year we need a manager who understands this, which means it has to be an ex-Juventino. Deschamps or Zidane. IMHO.

This is a year where it may make sense to bring back a couple of guys who left like Vidal, Pogs and/or Morata. These are guys who understand the club and can help with all the other newcomers. Personally, I would take all 3 of them back, but we shall see.

I think Pogs in particular has learned a lesson, and could do quite well here again. We haven't had a warrior to step in for Vidal since he left. orate is a different kind of striker than we currently have and would add another arrow in Max's quiver.

One player I do not want is Wanda's Hubby. Sorry. He scores a lot but is mainly a poacher, does not really work for the team like our other strikers do, and most importantly, is highly disruptive in the lockerroom. No thanks. Frankly, I would rather take a chance on Balo that Wanda's boy.
