We might not be attending but we will be watching.

Who’s your candidate to win it all? Upsets? Any youngsters to follow?

There’s so many teams that I’ve never seen play like Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Serbia, Panama, Iceland. So it’s either going to be really boring or really exciting.

Same. And about Uruguay the way its looking now I would say they are up against either Spain or Portugal to advance into querter finals. Both tough opponents but again lets see how more friendlies go who knows. Spain and Germany have the best defence and are solid all round. Portugal have proven them selfs in Euro cup so for now do I give them the leg up over Uruguay... YES.

I just saw Liverpool vs Roma, the Egiptian Salah is ripping the premier league right now, haven't seen him play with Egipt ,but it should be a very interesting group,Uruguay may have some trouble but they can take a spot.

He was at Chelsea. Makes me think, why sometimes people don’t take chances in others and watch them blossom?

Many have Egypt as the black horse of this world cup and I think should do well in their group. They have other good players apart from Salah.

Now Russia. Many have them as the worst proformance from a host team ever. Russians them selves dont have hope. Coach has player in the wrong positions. They have some solid players and others who just dont preform that well at NT level or in big games.

Uruguay should def advance that second spot is beetween Russia and Egypt IMO.

Zidane is going to be our new coach. You heard it here first.

Even Bolivia is playing friendlies. Are we going to wait until last minute to try new players and formations? and by last minute I mean first game of the qualifiers?

Of course I'm supporting Croatia 'cause I'm Croat, but when I see realize that we're not going to the WC I would cry. And another thing that worries me a lot is the future of our NT. Difficult times for all of us. But I won't lose my faith. FUERZA ECUADOR!

I just noticed that Russia has their games perfectly set out easy to hard. First match vs Saudi Arabia then Egypt then Uruguay. So they have that as an advantage.

People still dont have hopes for them tho.

Saudi Arabia lost pretty bad to Peru. Played a good game vs Italy and Germany but still lost they had that 2-0 win over Greece. Russia lost all their recent games Brazil, France, and Austria and tied to Turkey. Wow... and it sad to say there wasn't anything special about them in those games. So when people say they may have the worst performance as a host team I believe them.

I see this match as a draw. both teams going away with points.

Shit. We need directivos with balls. Spain fired their coach 2 days before the wc and we couldn’t get rid of Quinteros when we had the chance to qualify.

Villacis does litterally nothing dude cant make a disicion to save his life. How we let Quinteros continue coaching after he said we didnt deserve to qualify is beond me on top of that how he bad talked him and fef.

This is probably the worst our teams has been. Like Bolivia we played no friendlies. Bottom of the table in South America and no coach. I hate the momwnt we are in. And to think I was believing those rumors about Bauza becoming coach... to good to be true.

But yea Spain firing their coach is ballzy af.Some of the guys in our league should follow that. I applaud Delfin for firing Sanguinetti I didnt see that coming especially after having that 2-0 win again Colo-Colo and it seemed like he was going to pick the team up.

I think BSC should have fired Almada I think after this Copa Sudamericana its clear that he is not going to give BSC that winning mentallity in Copas to bring them to a final or win it. Nice run last year but still I think it time they change.

Same thing with Arias if he didnt take it on him self to leave he still would have been in Emelec. Huge let down this year by them 2.

Going back to the NT. It said time and time again from multiple news sources that Bolillo will be our coach after world cup. Talk about going back to squar one. Im honestly not happy about it. But what do you guys think about that ?

Bolivia did play some friendlies. USA, S. Korea and Serbia.

Bolillo, it’s a start.....(shit, we might have a new coach in 2 weeks since Panama might not make it out of the group stages) we should have rebuilt that one time Vizuete got hired for the 2nd time.

This is something I hate about our culture. Always leave everything for last minute.

Hey guys, more opinions in wc so far?congrats to the Mexicans for taking one from the Champs, could've been more if their forwards were on point, but they had a solid plan and excecuted well.Iwas expecting more from Peru, but the Danes had an ace in their goalie, and bad decisions from Peruvian playmakers resulted in a loss, they have it tough against France.Panama sob,was wishing them well and almost pull a tie or a 1-0 loss but the Belgians firepower was to much to contend with, but they bravely defended their first game, they also needed a playmaker up top, don't see them doing too much, they also missed a chance at goal, you got to make those.

I was really thinking Saudi Arabia would do better and give the others in their group a good competition but I guess not. If Russia manages to get a win Vs Egypt they are in. Egypt was really missing Salah vs Uruguay.

As for that Mex vs Ger game. Dam if Germany continues to play like that there no way they will get very far in this world cup. Their deffenders were out of positions letting Mex constantly counter attack them. They constantly gave away the ball in poor attempts to make an attack. The next games in that group should be interesting.

You guys catch that Iceland Arg game. Iceland played with some real balls. Great job by their back line to deffend Messi. There a super interesting team.

I didnt have time to watch Spain, Portugal, France or Brazil what are your thoughts on them?

I saw a bit of Spain - Portugal, what can you say ,Christiano did his thing, can they win on that alone, not really.Brazil vs Switzerland started out as if Brazil was going to put a hurting in them, but they kind of fizzled out and the Swiss also started attacking, got to tell you that my least favorite player is Neymar,I just don't like all the showboating and crying show he puts on,I kind of like when a defender kicks him.Korea vs Sweden was a snooze fest. Also wasn't to impressed with Iceland, parking the bus is not something I look forward to,I understand the tactic Though.Messi was continuously surrounded by 3 players and Icelands backline were towers hard to pull off anything.

I think this World Cup has been awesome so far. The Mexicans had me on the edge. I wasn’t impressed with Iceland, it was like watching a Mourinho team.

South American teams are doing bad. I wonder who will make it to the knock out stages this time.
