We needed our defenders to play 2 vs 1 against their wingers with the help of the fullbacks, but they were constantly facing 1 vs 1 with acres of space around them, the coach really didn't help them. Salah deserves the golden ball, he destroyed us.
The difference being 4-1 flattered Barça. 5-2 flattered us. With Lovren back there, who knows how many they can concede, but I don't see Liverpool being mentally vacant like Barça until they were down 3-0. This Roma side is also clearly flawed. No surprise we can't win CL like that.
