He has looked quite solid since Hamid arrived ... and when he kick the ball upfield, it always seem to reach the FCM player he was aiming for ...
It's a table. with 6 teams and #1 wins the Championship. Positions in the table also get European football. I believe only #1 has a shot at CL. Hamid's team is currently 3 pts behind 1st place, so as of now no CL. And there are 6 games left. Brondby also have a better GD another advantage.
"Frankfurt offers me a position as a backup keeper. If I come here, I need to know that I'll be starting." "Yes, you'll be a starter." "Fine then, where do I sign?" Key questions Bill forgot to ask: "Starting when? And for the season?" As is now, they only have to start him for a summer friendly to be true to what they said.
Well ... FCM surely did not sign Hamid just to warm the bench ... I'm sure his wages are much to high for just being 2nd keeper, and most likely as much or more than they are paying Hansen ... and now that Brøndby have sold their keeper to Frankfurt, they may try once more to get Hansen, considering that they made a bid on him when Crystal Palace made their last minute bid on Rønnow... Brøndbys 1st priority is last season 'Keeper of the Year' Sten Grytebust from OB Odense, but OB are demanding $1.25 million for him inspite the fact that he only has one year left of his contract, So Brøndby are probably not willing to pay more than $500k for him, so they may go for Hansen instead.
Hopefully the club can nab a trophy to makeup for the lack of PT. would he be eligible for a title medal or cup medal even though he's only played 1 game?
All the players who have played or are on the bench in the Danish Cup final recieve a medal ... this is from last years Cup final :

Hamid did well in the Cup game, but he could have hoped for a better Superliga debut ... he is getting criticized in the media for that 3rd AaB goal .... highlights .
Wow yea that third goal was not well-played. Almost got scored on direct from a corner, flaps at the ball and a guy knocks it in from close.
Esatto. Folks seem in a rush to dump on him and Horvath. Can we have some support for our guys? It's a tough period. No need to crucify everyone.
No one is crucifying him. Just stating facts. Is he rusty? yes, why? because he's only played 120 mins since September. You can train all day but training speed is not game day speed.
It can't be his fault. His team is doing well (I'm sure he didn't imagine it'd take 2 months to make a league or club debut). Not sure if the winter call-up was the best idea for him. Or maybe he needed that since he hadn't played since November.
It's not his fault at all imo. He wanted out of DC and DCU got butthurt and benched him at the end of the season. Since DCU is a pile of hot garbage (i'm an unfortunate fan) they didn't make the playoffs giving him a long offseason. He went to a team in a league with a long winter break and their #1 had only given up 8 goals in 13 league and cup games and were on a unbeaten streak that stretches back to mid Sep. If I was in charge of FCM I wouldn't upset the apple cart either.

Again ... they signed a 4½ year contract and pay him good money because they believe in him and this is a key difference between Danish Superliga and the Bundesliga or the top-6 leagues where money does not matter as much and you get benched if you do a few mistakes ... the fact that he looked rusty in his Superliga debut is not going to get him benched ...
