According to Choi Kang-hee, Kim Jin-su is recovering but still unable to run, meanwhile Hong Jeong-ho should return soon.

Shin Tae-yong will be announcing the 35 Preliminary Entry on the 14th of next month, then the squad will be reduced to a 26-Man roster on the 24th. The final 23 WC roster will be finalized in early June after the Bosnia friendly is over.

I'd love to see Suk in the KNT. But at this point, his chances are low, because STY seems to stick with the useless Wookie. Unless he only takes 3 FBs with him (which would make sense since PJH can also play LB).

Most likely WC squad (based on recent call ups and STY-biases):

GK: Kim Seung Gyu, Cho Hyun Woo, Kim Jin Hyeon (3)
DF: Jang Hyun Soo, Kim Min Jae, Jung Seung Hyun, Yoon Young Sun, Kim Jin Su, Choi Chul Soon, Lee Yong, Kim Min Woo (8)
MF: Ki Sung Yong, Kwon Chang Hoon, Lee Jae Sung, Koo Ja Cheol, Park Joo Ho, Jung Woo Young, Lee Chang Min, Yeom Ki Hun (8)
FW: Son Heung Min, Hwang Hee Chan, Kim Shin Wook, Lee Keun Ho (4)

Well, Wookie only proved himself against mediocre teams, but was a fcuking no-show against NI and Poland, as always and as usual can't show up against teams that matter/strong and or decent teams. Shin Tae-yong is making a grave mistake if he's really keen on believing and utilizing Wookie as the target man vs Germany, the guy couldn't even get past a shaky NI defense let alone Poland for the matter, he'll get shutout by Hummels and Boateng all night.

As for Suk, he's got next month to prove his worth and pray to god he does since he's the better option than a 198cm useless stick that constantly flops like a helpless fish.

its not shin taeyongs fault that suk hyunjun hasnt been able to raise his form and is struggling to get playing time at a relegation bound club

The lack of playing time/form while in Europe never stopped Park Juyoung from playing in the Olympics or 2014.

We went from 'Be the Reds', 'All the Reds', 'Reds Go Together', 'We are the Reds', to 'We, the Reds'.

This is worrisome. It will be very difficult to schedule a friendly against competitive European sides.

Who would you have started in the Olympics and 2014?

Under the current circumstances (i.e., we are about as drab as ever), are you sure you can categorize such an action as a mistake? Regardless, your math comparison of PJuyoung and YLeechung isn't necessarily comparable.

For the Olympics PCY would have beem enough but for 2014 was totally different story. Wookie was in the better form at the moment. Unfortunately KSW has regressed since then though.

Why would we have to take that risk of playing a guy who has been out of shape over a few months?

We must not face Ibra. Berg, Forsberg and Toivonen are dangerous enough.
