Yes it's a bit early, but the rumours have already started so might as well open this thread.

Today there is multiple reports that we are signing 20 year old attacking midfielder Marco Tulio from Atletico Mineiro. Apparently it's a deal to cover some of the remaining cost of Elias that is owed to SCP. He doesn't have a lot of appearances but is touted as a revelation for Mineiro.

Another player being linked is Gabriel Rojas from San Lorenzo who could be a LB option next season if/when Coentrao leaves. There is also interest from Benfica and Atletico Madrid.

Nottingham Forest confirmed they have permanently signed Tobias Figueiredo for 2.3M euros. The player was on loan with a clause to buy the play after a certain amount of matches played, which he just completed.

A bit low, but he didn't grab his opportunities with both hands in Alvalade. Although I rate him much higher than Coates might as well leave to a competitive league and improve. Best of luck to him.

Bro, Tobias ain't stepping anywhere near the NT. Dude sucks way too much ass. Ruben Dias is miles ahead, and that's just one dude off the top of my head. No one playing in the second division in England is making the NT. Just stop.

Don't be so sure. Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota might soon too.

Ruben Dias might and may not last long in the NT either if he keeps fouling in order to defend.

He definitely was bad for us, but I can see him doing well in England. It suits his physicality. I doubt he'll ever be anything amazing, but I can see him following Jose Fonts path. Coates sucks too tbh.

Yea but Coates is miles ahead of this bum. Tobias is utter trash and offers absolutely nothing.

Bit drastic. I think he's better than Andre Pinto at least.

Pinto has shown some value this season with Matthieu being hurt and Coates being suspended.

Tobias has never shown value. Ever.

Coates has had some defensive lapses but I don't remember a better CB pairing at SCP than with Mathieu and Coates. We haven't allowed goals at home in the league for 13 games I think.

Exactly. Do I still want improvement? Yes. Is Coates mentally retarded at times? Yes.

Tobias offers nothing but lack of discipline.

Hopefully it has nothing to do with off-field issues recently. But I'm likely wrong. I really hope at the end of the season the squad and president can have a face-to-face and resolve these issues once and for all.

Without other youth team players coming through to take over, there will be a pretty big leadership gap in the squad. If we get decent $ for William and Patricio (have a feeling Gelson leaves too) then we really need to wise with the reinvestment. Several of last summer's signings have been solid, so if we can have another summer window like that we should be competitive.

Good point. I guess i always hoped that if he left, it would be to a world class team.

So usual rumors of William to English clubs, Dost as well. Patricio to Wolves or Napoli. Gelson?

Guess Coentrao is not staying, lol. Lot of changes to come.

I think William and Patricio leave. William has been wanting to leave for years and we shouldn't hold him back. 35m I think should do it.

As for Patricio, if he does go I'd like to see him go to a big club, and for the Portugal #1 and Euro winner we shouldn't accept anything under 35m.

Dost has scored awesome goals but at the same time I feel his style of play is holding us back as an attacking unit. Our style of play has become cross heavy and monotonous. However I don't see a big offer coming for him unless its from China or something.

Coentrao has been solid but he seems to have lost that offensive ability he used to have. Fitness is also a big question. There are cheaper options out there.

Don't think there's any clause to extend the deal, unless we tried to negotiate an extension... but I doubt it.
