The difference is I'm not here solely attributing the loss to poor officiating. Juve blew the first game completely. I also think that it was a tactical error by Allegri to back off once Juve got the equalizer in the second leg. That is markedly different from you and a number of the knuckledragger Roma supporters that are stupid enough to think that the reason that Juve are successful is solely due to officiating--but when your example is a classless, perennial loser like Totti, it's not hard to see where the conspiracies are coming from.
big win by Napoli yesterday... its a race now Allegri got out managed by Sarri yesterday at home... just not acceptable.
I was surprised at how little balls Juve showed. That could be the fault of Allegri for not giving his squad enough courage. But no excuse for the likes of Higuain and Dybala who made the night easy for the Napoli defense. Mandzukic should have started. This Juve team nearing the end of a cycle.
I think the end for a few for sure (Marchisio, Lichtsteiner, Asamoah, Alex Sandro) and more likely than not I don't see Allegri coming back next year despite the 7th scudetto or not He royally f'd up this one with Napoli... heavily restricted Costa, Dybala, and our offensive talent and was clearly playing for the tie.
I know this is the Rivalry thread so we’re not allowed to utilize logic or make rational arguments, but Allegri is clearly to blame for the approach. His post-game comments coupled with what we saw on the pitch all but confirm that he came out with an intent not to lose rather than take the game to Napoli.
sfogliatelle are right up there with Sfingi (Sicilian version of Zeppole) and Cannoli as my fav Italian deserts
haha I think I jinxed it on that one. Max bunkering down at HOME against Napoli is insanity. we looked like the Trappatoni Italia teams back in the day trying to hold a 1-0 lead for 80+ minutes (except without that lead to fall back on)
I watched some of it last night. Napoli was boring. Can't believe how often they pass the ball back for no reason. Where is the beauty in that?
