Arsenal are getting annoying with their German interest, keep seeing Max Meyer strongly linked to move there. Really hope not.

although Klopp seems to be a fan of his and he seems to have interest across of Europe. Makes one wonder if he moves does he stay in midfield or does he go back to being an attacking player?

-Tah is in risk of missing the cup game vs Bayern. Biggest game of the season for Bayer as it's their only chance for a title.
-looks like Dardai isn't impressed with Weiser's stats this season and the player seems headed out anyways as he's been liked with moves for awhile now.
-seems like Badstuber might leave Stuttgart with an expiring summer contract. There is supposed interest from Lazio.

-Stuttgart Beck is out for the rest of the season
-RB Leipzig's Benno Schmitz seems headed to join Koln
-Schalke have interest in Koln's Dominique Heintz

L.Bender as RB at fault for Bayern's 2nd goal, now scores to make it 1-2 for Bayer.

so far, Havertz, Brandt, Bellarabi have been very good.

Rudi Voller confirms that Brandt's new contract has no exit clause.

Pascal Gross scores his 6th of the season to tie the game vs Spurs 1-1.

Great for Leverkusen to extend Tah and Brandt and to not have a buyout

glad he's staying too, good for the league but also because I don't want him to leave Germany too young. Same with Tah, most of the Bayer youth player attract interest all over Europe.

now the big question mark left given that all the important players are signed until 2021+ is Leno.
his contract is done in 2020 and there is EPL and Serie A interest in him.

Leno's admitted that he wants CL football but that he is tempted by a move abroad.

Agree with everything and I'll just add that I hope other clubs are watching. Bundesliga dip and EPL rise has a common factor of player and coaching talent leaving.

Clubs and players should desire to compete against Bayern.

competing against Bayern is doable once Jupp is gone. That guy fits Bayern like a glove. Ancelotti had the same players and flopped. Jupp comes back and keeps trashing majority of clubs in 1BL.

with his retirement and other clubs getting themselves together like Dortmund, RB it could become more competitive. Bayer with more experience and maybe adding 1-2 more hands could be a threat. And they should add more if you want to compete on 3 fronts. You also got Tedesco's Schalke who need to do a bit more to be a threat, a bit too defensive.

Agreed with Jupp and clubs becoming more competitive but Bundesliga has let go too much talent leave. They have no one to blame but themselves. Somuch talent has been allowed to leave for cheap.
As you said it’s great for Bayer and the league to be able to have two of their stars and talent stays AND take away the buy out clause.
Currently and in the past seasons these buyouts or money value of players have been to low. We can blame Bayern for Dortmund situation but I’m the end it’s Zoroaster fault for allowing everyone to leave. The epl has had a huge boost from Pep, Klopp, De Bruyne, Sane, Gundogon, etc
Bayern can have Kovac who is good but not elite and probably still win. Truth is Dortmund should be competing and aren’t, schalke should be competing but aren’t, leverkusen hs had talent but still can’t compete and Red Bull’s should be doing better.

-looks like Bittencourt is attracting the interest of RB Leipzig on top of the supposed interest from Spurs and EPL.
    -Weiser seems headed to Bayer
-Christoph Janker contract extended until summer 2019

I am not sure those clubs (Dortmund) are getting it together. The gap between Bayern and the rest of the league is so huge that Bayern could win the league even if they did not have a head coach. Even with all of Ancelotti's struggles, Bayern would have turned it around... And Bayern keep on adding 2 of Germany's best players every year...

not convinced Ancelotti would have turned it around and recently except for like 1-2 games Bayern is just trashing the competition.

If Ancelloti had stayed and BVB kept Tuchel, I don't think Bayern would have won the league this season.

letting Tuchel go was dumb, notice the huge amount of failure post Tuchel.

I'm pretty worried about the state of FCB at the moment. With the extension of Robbery, and the hiring of yes men like Brazzo, we look to be headed back to the mid 2000's era. I sense another Magath type period of decent success domestically, but completely out-matched in Europe.

it's a shame that we couldn't sign Tuchel ourselves.

Robbery's contract extensions seems tied to reduced roles. Coman and Gnabry etc should be the future.

but yeah, we do seem potentially headed towards another meh period. 1st one was post Hitzelfd and this one is post Jupp. 2 coaches that are very hard to match and Kovac does not bring much confidence.

The other big correlation is our unwillingness to invest in the squad. Instead we are picking up decent German players on the cheap (Goretzka, Gnabry, Rudy, etc.) Hopefully Goretzka and Gnabry turn out to be great purchases, but it's a big risk.

Rudy was a dumb purchase, should have just promoted Dorsch instead. Even worse about Rudy is that Stuttgart are interested in him but he wants to stay. Sounds like a guy who doesn't want to admit his move was a bomb.

Gnabry and Goretzka are still young and haven't reached their potential yet. And both have had injury problems in the past.

concerning Gnabry I believe it's been said that the 2nd most efficient 1BL player in terms of goals/assists this year is him. 1st is Lewa.

At least in the case of Goretzka there are rumors that Vidal will be sold. That leaves plenty of room for him to get lots of matches in our midfield if Kovac rotates like Jupp has done.

there is a decent chance Vidal will be sold, out for the rest of the season and his contract expires Summer 2019. If he doesn't renew, he will be sold this Summer. And he has tons of EPL and Serie A interest.

if he leaves Goretzka is likely to be his replacement.

Brondby's Anthony Jung scores the winner in a comeback win vs 2nd place Midtjylland., in a 3-2 win.

in the Championship Round he's at
1 goal and 2 assists in 4 games.

him and Mukhtar have been important to the club's title run and shot at CL. Although Jung is just on loan from RB Leipzig but with his performances this season, looks like Brondby want to sign him permanently.

Bayern have no choice but to pluck german of foreign talent from other BL teams. Not a matter of willing to invest. Today's best players, unless recovering from injury or getting older, will not be attracted to the BL.

Wolf and Thommy have been this season's greatest surprises by far. Füllkrug looks to have exceeded original expectations. I think Maximilian Philipp was great as well before his injury. He was already a good player with Freiburg before of course, but Dortmund is still a test and step up in difficulty. Gnabry is finishing the season off really strong.

IMO, other young players like Havertz, Brandt, Tah, Kehrer, Baumgartl, Anton, Geiger, Arne Maier, and Uduokhai also made solid strides on the 1BL level.

shame we can't put Arp and Itter on that list. Other guys like Vagnoman and Bisseck made their debuts and impressed when called upon but weren't given enough chances. Vagnoman is in strong consideration to make the XI this weekend although he might not make it because he might not be fully fit.

Jaeckel has been good as of now, with suspensions and injuries he should get even more chances at Wolfsburg. He's on track to make his 3rd consecutive start tomorrow.
