Earnie said in a video that he's a right back.

I guess that means Ray should be updating his resume.

for all of the downsides Ray has, he is a good utility LB/RB back-up... can Mbaizo play on the left at all?

I guess there are worse things than a defender that can only defend and not much else. Like having an array of attacking players that can't score goals. At least Ray has the main part of his job description going for him.

Ray is the ultimate gym rat glue guy. He’s got a job for life as long as he practices hard. Think they’re moving Keegan?

Sounds like a great candidate for the Union's Future Senior Team Manager Pipeline Program.

I think Mbaizo gets 4 appearances this season and is never heard from again.

Mbaizo can play RB, LB and CB. His primary position to date is RB but is more of a LB than Gaddis. He played CB for his club team (Union Douala - Cameroon) but given his size (5'10" - 155 lbs. - smaller than Yaro) - he may be down the CB depth chart.

Maybe they keep just Ray and Mbaizo and use them like utility infielders in baseball. Imagine how much money that would save Jay.

Christian Santos, whose another player on the discovery list board, is being sought after by the Sounders.

Hmm, something tells me this has bust written all over it. Also we’re out of international spots. So there’s that too.

You mean buy out his contract? Seems like a no brainer until you remember they kept locker room cancer Freddy Adu around until they could trade him for a guy who also wouldn't play.

It’ll never happen, but I wouldn’t mind Asad in our midfield.

Wouldn't mind Mullins as a backup to Sapong, provided they can cut Simpson loose.

The in season player movement thread is the most pointless of all the pointless threads.

Call it the "In Season Window Shopping Thread."

Or, perhaps, the "In Season 'We Claim We Made An Offer On...' Thread"

I agree, but the fact that we would be excited to get retreads from the one team we are currently better than...... lololololol

It's going to be sooooo depressing once DCU wakes up and starts spending....

New England now has a pile of funny money too after trading Ngyuen to LAFC yesterday.
