Are you suggesting that all players should be bald, or shave their heads? - so as to help their speed? Individuality is important for many players - and having hair in the style that it is helps to make Fossey 'stand out' (and makes it easier to identify him when the game is on TV), and is therefore helpful. On the other hand, when Fossey was caught offside in a recent match (Stoke u23 vs Fulham u23), one spectator in the crowd 'suggested' that he was only given offside because his 'hair was offside' !!! - so it does have disadvantages??
https://www.football.london/fulham-fc/kalas-joker-djalo-behind-scenes-14699098 Snip: Steven Sessegnon, Luca de la Torre and Marlon Fossey were all included in training ahead of the play-off final, and while it's very unlikely either of those will play a part, it's encouraging to see the youngsters gaining the exposure. Steven Sessegnon and de la Torre have both made their first team bows this season, but we're yet to see Fossey, the 19-year-old American, make his debut yet. Fossey is a defender and has represented the States at youth level and won the U20 CONCACAF Championships in 2017, but missed out on the U20 World Cup with injury. He's been at the Academy since he was 11 and we could certainly see him making an appearance in the EFL Cup next season, regardless of what division the team are in.

Trevor, i'm curious..... Does Marlon get feedback on what he has to do to get into consistent first team football or is that line of communication traditionally not there.

Looking on twitter, many rave reviews about his performance and a few sites saying he was the best player on the field.
https://www.football.london/fulham-fc/fulham-1-0-sampdoria-player-14979562 Marlon Fossey - 8 Showed some very nice early touches to beat his men down the flanks. Was probably Fulham's best player and there's a real decision to be made about what Jokanovic does with the teenager this season.
But fortunately being in school is closer to a vacation than a real job, so you should have plenty of time to make more videos.
Believe he's been playing LB for them this preseason (At least part time)...saw him at LB vs Fenerbache
