What is sad is the fact the beIN-1 (the English-language channel) only had 3 live matches Saturday/Sunday. It happens when Real Madrid & Barcelona have certain kickoff times and, admittedly, the Serie A and Ligue-1 schedules are pretty crap. But still, only 3 live games on the weekend is sad.

I think you should count Lazio vs. Genoa on beIN-1 today as part of the weekend. Serie A only plays some Mondays. After today, there are six weekends when the start times within the weekend have been decided, and only two of them have Monday games.

Real Madrid (Saturday at 2:45 P.M.) and Barcelona (Sunday at 10:15 A.M.) play the same time this weekend as they just played.

Monaco vs. Lyon was a battle for Champions League spots yesterday, but it conflicted with Atletico Madrid vs. Valencia.

I wish Serie A got better coverage.........having said that I understand why Bein is doing what they do.

I was hoping that with Real Madrid's dip in form, they would show some love to serie A this weekend, but nothing. Napoli-Lazio relegated to streaming.

yeah, in fairness to BeIN, other channels show the same match on their English and Spanish too, while other games get neither. Its just more obvious when beIN does it, presumably because there are only 2 TV channels. When FS1 and FOXD are both showing the same CL match, its less annoying as there are 2 other English channels also showing CL (3 for those willing to pay $16/month for the overflow FS+ channel)

It will be delayed at 6:00 P.M. Because of Barcelona, none of the Sunday 9:00 A.M. games will be on live. Inter Milan-Bologna will be delayed at 12:30 P.M. As for Real Madrid, imagine if they didn't qualify for the Champions League. They're in fourth, and are 2 points ahead of Villarreal with a game in hand (which will be in 14 days at 12:45 P.M. before Champions League games). The tiebreaker is head-to-head, Villarreal already won at Real Madrid, and Villarreal ends hosting Real Madrid. La Liga ends one week before the Champions League Final. Imagine if Real Madrid finishes fifth and plays in the Champions League Final needing to win to qualify for the next one. Real Madrid is 1 point behind third place Valencia and Real Madrid has the tiebreaker. Real Madrid will probably qualify for the Champions League, but it could be too close for comfort.

On Saturday, Troyes vs. Paris Saint-Germain will be on at 11:00 A.M. followed by the second half of Lazio vs. Juventus which is at 12:00 P.M. I figured Lazio vs. Juventus would get a full replay on the weekend, but it's not on until Tuesday. Troyes vs. Paris Saint-Germain will be replayed the night it happens, and Fenerbahce vs. Akhisar Belediyespor will be live on Sunday and replayed on Monday before all of Lazio vs. Juventus is on.

That Saturday schedule is awful. Huge games in the only undecided top european league in the second plan to show some average soccer. Frankly Lazio-Juve and Napoli-Roma should be the top 2 games of the day. Those who want to see good soccer probably don't watch Real Madrid anymore , and probably even Real Madrid fans don't care at this point of the season. You put two Serie A games on beIn and PSG and Real Madrid on the spanish channel. That's not hard at all.

There's still a lot of people who want to see Real Madrid suffer. And a lot of people who are interested in seeing if Cristiano and company can turn things around.

They could show Real Madrid and still replay Lazio vs. Juventus earlier. One of the Saturday night spots with a replay of PSG or Real Madrid should go to Lazio vs. Juventus. The other one of PSG or Real Madrid could be replayed Sunday night rather than replaying Milan clubs at 7:30 P.M. from a game that's shown live at 2:45 P.M.

Wow! Passing over one of the biggest matches in Serie A and a derby, for an absolute dead-rubber affair in Madrid.

I wonder if they will show less of PSG now that Neymar is out for the season(?)

Nobody will be reflecting on this season in the summer and pointing to Madrid v Getafe as where Madrid turned it all around.

I know that the market for Real Madrid is still bigger, despite their struggles and league position -- but on the English and Spanish channels does seem a bit too much. Napoli's season is basically the only story left in the top European leagues.

True, I don’t think Napoli’s chances are significantly better than Atlético’s. At the end if the day, Spain will give us our best title race among the top leagues, like every season.

If Barcelona beats Atletico, and Atletico wins their last 11 games, Barcelona would need 25 points from their last 11 games to win the title, which they probably will get. According to Wikipedia, the tiebreakers use head-to-head points and goal differential, but not head-to-head away goals. Then they go to goal differential. Therefore Barcelona would clinch the tiebreaker with a draw considering their goal differential is 22 better than Atletico's. If Atletico beats Lokomotiv Moscow, Atletico will play at Real Madrid right after a Europa League game, and Barcelona hosts Real Madrid. If Barcelona and Atletico draw, and Barcelona's points per game remains the same, they would win the title unless Atletico win their last 11. If Atletico wins, then there will be a good title race.

I don't know how much people will care about records if Atletico don't win the title, but they have a chance to break the La Liga record for fewest goals allowed per game.

Anybody else have trouble using Chromcast with beIN connect? Just tested mine with Watch ESpN and its working fine, but not when using the Connect app.

    Grrr..

All this necessary because they’re showing PSG “B” team play against relegation fodder instead of Lazio x Juve on TV.

On Sunday, Atletico Madrid vs. Celta Vigo will be at 1:30 P.M. and joined in progress in English at 2:00 P.M. after Galatasaray vs. Konyaspor. What doesn't make sense is that Atletico Madrid vs. Celta Vigo is scheduled to be replayed from 8:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. The replay on Monday is also 90 minutes. I guess the replays won't show the beginning either.

Another decision that does not make sense. Let's show the PSG game live on both channels and then the second half of Juve game live on both channels, instead of showing one game on each channel live in its entirety.

Napoli vs. Genoa will be tomorrow at the same time as Real Madrid, so I didn't expect it to be on live, but it won't be shown until Tuesday at Noon.

bein connect channel 3 is now showing La Liga TV. From what I've watched (it hasn't been much), it's all in English, and features different programs, new shows, and highlights. I don't know yet if they show full game replays or anything like that, but I've only watched a bit of it. Although I'm not big on La Liga, it's still a pretty cool addition.

I said something nice about bein, now it's time to trash them again. The Benevento/Cagliari match had both Italian and English commentary for the entire match. I get that it's not even a remotely important match, and I'm probably one of the only people in the US who actually wanted to watch it, but these kinds of mistakes just continue to happen consistently, and they simply don't care enough to fix it. I can't wait to find out if Serie A is going to ESPN+ next season. I'll gladly take it over bein.

If it makes you feel better, I watched it too. Well... the last 30 minutes. Didn't have the volume on though.

BeIN’s official Facebook feed posted today that they had filed a complaint with the FCC over Comcast not participating in BeIN connect and not carrying its channels in HD. (Where I am, at least, I think BeIN Español is in HD on Comcast.) The complaint says it is because Comcast is helping out nbcsn by taking non competitive actions against nbcsn’s competition.
