    Umm....well....God of War?

I'm looking forward to the new Crackdown, but I think all we have at the moment is "spring '2018". And maybe Spider-Man will come out in the summer as well?

They aren't the biggest titles but I am stoked for Sea of Thieves (march), State of Decay 2 (rumored for May) and A Way Out (March). I am gonna guess Crackdown 3 will come out some time after E3.

So I am now over 60 hours into my belated playthrough of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". I have only just started with the second act of the game and with the caveat that I still have unfinished secondary quests, Witcher contracts and treasure hunts from the first act. I've read one decent playthrough takes a little over 100 hours, even if you aren't a completionist who wants to do every single mission.

I am most impressed with the richness of the world and how well scripted some of the quests are, especially the Witcher contracts, which could easily be far more repetitive than they are. I am a bit frustrated by my gear, which is always slightly below my character level, or so it seems.

Witcher 3 is the best RPG I have played

The story isn’t shit, the side quests are good, the dialogue is great and the combat too

Kingdom Come: Deliverance may in its current state be buggy "Euro Jank" but it:s still the most captivating game I've played since The Witcher 3. I'll take this game over every overproduced, motion-captured AAA game any time.

If the technical issues at launch are a problem one should wait for a couple of months and patches. But I highly recommend everyone to check it out.

    A diamond in the rough!

Not that anyone cares but I like Vaporum :) ... I finished it on the hardest difficulty over dozen times already. For anyone interested in RPGs and/or steampunk games that hasn't heard of Vaporum yet try it! Its movement system is a bit weird (square-ish) but the game overall is good. It's on GoG and Steam

Picked this up and I'm liking what I see so far, but I'm giving it a bit of time before I really get into it because of those technical issues you were mentioning. Still, should be a lot of fun once they get the bugs sorted out.

Nephews got a PS4, for Fortnite, and I was the good uncle and picked them up the first games any new ps4 owner should get, Resogun and Rocket League. It is weird playing Fortnite with them cause they talk like they are streaming their game for an audience.

Finished "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt".
    Very enjoyable game.
Probably the most purely fun RPG I've played since "Dragon Age II".

I enjoyed Dragon Age II, and put a lot of time into it. However, The Witcher 3 (and all its DLC's) are on another level. I didn't think I'd have a best game ever (because of all the nostagia with so many games I have, like....Golden Eye, Zelda lttp, half life 2, fallout3...and so many more)..but Witcher 3 is just so amazing that at this moment in time..it's the best game I've played in my lifetime.

What ending did you guys get?

    Show Spoiler

In my playthrough, Ciri ended up becoming a Witcher herself.
Apparently this is the second best ending.
I checked online what the others are. I don't see why her becoming the new Empress is deemed the best ending. I think part of the reason why I didn't get that one is that I refused to bring her to see Emhyr. I hate that guy.

BTW, this might be of interest to "The Witcher" fans:

This is the made-for-Netflix "The Witcher" adaptation that is in pre-production at the moment.

I had the same ending...and imo that is the best ending.

If anyone has a Switch I'd highly recommend Golf Story, it was a really great little golf rpg. There was a lot to love about the game.

Does anyone have a good game recommendation?
I know "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" is quite good if the reviews and gamer reaction is anything to go by, but after just finishing "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", I would rather try something else that is a bit more different in terms of its gameplay.
I do intend to give "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" a try eventually.

And the silence says everything you need to know about how little has come out in the past two months.

Sea of Thieves has intrigued me enough that I plan to pick it up when it comes out in a couple weeks. Surviving Mars has a 'SimCity on Mars' vibe which I plan to check out when it comes out next week. Hopefully one of those will be good.

I've been playing a lot of Rocket League lately. If my friends are on I'll jump into Fortnite with them. And working on finishing up South Park Fractured But Whole.

I have Monster Hunter just haven't had much time to really but anything into it, and Sea of Thieves is my next purchase.

Anyone else try any of the Sea of Thieves betas? Got to play a little bit. I had fun in the limited time I played with it, but it was basically solo. I do think you'll have a lot more fun in a group. I tried matchmaking a couple times, and was quickly reminded why I never do that.

My plan is to grab the game through game pass and see how much I like it. If I can get a dozen hours of mostly solo game play I will be happy with it. Is it hard to sail on your own?

A Way Out releasing this Friday, the 23rd, I am really stoked to check that game out.

It's certainly doable. Going from point A to point B on sea isn't too big of a problem, as long as you keep an eye on what you're doing. The issue is the other stuff. Any time I ever saw another ship I sailed in a different direction. There's no way I would survive that encounter alone. It also makes it a little more frustrating to me when I was searching for treasure on an island. I think one time I had to stop digging up the treasure four times because the skeletons kept respawning so quickly.

Sea of Thieves went live yesterday, and had surprise had a lot of server issues. I finally got into a session with my group and we had a good time.

So I've got about 8 hours into Sea of Thieves. I will say it is a lot of fun getting with my group of friends and sailing the high seas, each one tasked with their own job on the ship. One at the wheel, usually 2 attending to the sails and the other looking out for enemy ships, which doesn't happen often for the most part ships tend to keep to themselves. The games is absolutely gorgeous, the water looks amazing. as far as game play, it's started to get a bit repetitive, we get voyages to go to islands to take down waves of skeletons, and following treasure maps to find buried treasure. and that's it so far. I am really hoping Rare adds more to it down the road.

Any other Xbox people have SoT? what are your thoughts?

I'm having fun, but I'm with you, I'm not sure about the staying power. It has a great foundation, I think, but not a lot else. They plan on adding more content, but I hope it's not just another faction with another fetch quest. Can't really comment on ship-to-ship combat yet, since I've been playing in the smaller ship and I run in the opposite direction once I see another ship coming.

I could see this as a game where a group decides they want to hang out and chat, but they don't want to play something that'll take up all of their concentration. Sea of Thieves would be perfect for that type of gaming night.

Haven't touched Sea of Thieves yet, should probably make a character before the buzz is gone. Played through what I believe was most of A Way Out and enjoy it enough that I plan to play through a second time with the other character. The story isn't all that amazing but the co-op nature of the game is really enjoyable and some of the chase/action sequence are truly great. One piece of advice I'd give anyone who is planning on playing the game is to take your time in each area and really investigate and uncover the side missions, most add some extra fun and good laugh here and there.

Far Cry 5 comes out this week, my plan is to actually try and remember how much I dislike all the previous Far Cry games and not get sucked in to the temptation of the fun open world nature the games offer.

I always find them fun for a solid 15-20 hours, but I end up trying to do too much of the side stuff and end up get bored and never finish the game.

I'll probably end up picking it up, just because I don't have a ton to play at the moment
