Blah blah blah...make another fifty posts on this incident and maybe you will convince yourself of your drivel  That play is not a red card anywhere unlike the foul by Howedes, in the same tournament Valencia got red-carded for a similar foul.

At the end of the day though. Who won and who lost?

Agree, Germany was better. But things could have been different if Howedes is red-carded.

Mascherano also should have gotten a red (from a double yellow). That would have REALLY changed the game for Argentina.

No one ever gets a straight red in the 25th minute of the Final for that kind of play. Even de Jong didn't get sent off. It takes a Zidane-like head butt or punch. In fact, other than Zidane, have there been any straight reds in the Final in the last 50 years? I can't think of any.

Forgot about Monzon in 1990. That was a strange one. Anyway, that was the only other straight red in the Final match in World Cup history.

Seems like the Germans are improving their dance skills lately! Benefits of visiting Brazil I guess.

Still it's a far more likely play to get a red card than Garay's.

Schweinsteiger was the first player to get a yellow in minute 29 for a foul which was weak compared to some Argentinian fouls before.

Isnt it funny how everyone was in fear of riots in Brazil after the 7:1, but the rioting happend in Argentina after the final. And it was the Argentinian fans who caused more problems in Brazil than the Brazilians. I will certainly remember that in a very negative light for quite a while. Reminded me of the England thughs in 2006 who came with no other intention other than to cause riots.

That is not even a foul in every big league. Some should let that go.

There was no rioting in Argentina either . The rivalry with the Brazilians goes beyond the WC final and it is a completely different matter than one game. As for WC06, the Germans did respond in kind to the English fans, so I guess that also should put them in a similar light.

I've seen your 2014 Final, and the Germany-Brazil semi-final. What else have you done? Are they all on youtube?
