Just once I’d like to see someone really lay into one of these diving punks to see what his reaction is.
i have to wonder if seattle hasn't taken a step back this season by not taking a step forward. bruin is a good mls journeyman who's great as a backup center forward but if he's your main guy for the season that's trouble. they should have dumped dempsey in the off season and signed a young dp attacking mid/winger and the also signed a dp striker moving alonso to a tam player. an attacking group of dp striker, loderio, vasquez, ydp attacker could be something ... an attacking group of bruin, decrepit dempsey, loderio and vasquez is mediocrity personified.
Might have caught a boot down low. If so, we’ll within his rights to draw attention to it. If not, he plants the seed with the ref. Or the ref might think he’s a diving puss. Any way it’s a win/win if he doesn’t get a card.
I remember a Panamanian club playing rsl. They gave those guys carrying injured players out the workout of their lives.
Seattle is SO predictable. The passes, the movement (such as there is), and the thinking isn't troubling their opposition one bit.
First half was an absolute mess. Referees had little control and even less respect from the players. Seattle was clearly not having it after that second early yellow.
