Yep. I like the COnejo stuff, like I mentioned last week or before, because it would be lethal with Cisneros up above, or vice versa.
No. The starters were Pereira and Alanis(when healthy, and generally). The position Salcido was occasionally starting at was DCM, paired up with a CM.
Okay, so it's halftime. Almeyda, FINALLY, is close to doing what I have been calling for a while; he's done all but one effing thing. Fine; but it's going in the right direction. He's benched 4 players. We have completely dominated the S out of Pachucs. He has made subs, finally. Basulto was paired up Alanis. This was neither here nor there, but at least it's calling attention to Pereira--if that's the reason he got subbed. Also, that Zandoval kid is tearing it up as RW, along with Cisneros at RB(Sanchez out). I have been calling this move for a while, but on the other side for Aris. Aris not being benched is the only thing that Almeyda has not done that I've called for. Pisses me off, but changes were made, at least. Finally, ALmeyda lined up with two 9s: Pulido and Godinez. They are playing well, and we have presence in the box. ALso, we are playing with two CM; Perez on more DCM role. We have missed 3 plays that should have ended in scores--not counting the penalty that should have been called for us. If only Aris was subbed for either Cisneros or Conejo, then there would be more play on our left with Pizarro playing LW. Most of our shit is from the CIsneros Sandoval combo. Hope we convert some.
They are doing too much on the individual level it's affecting when to lay off a pass to the open player. It's so frustrating. They need to have a cooler head and let the game flow naturally
We are dominating but havent scored. We need a game like this and knock in two or three to build esteem. I hope to god we dont get scored on first or end the game dominating with a tie
Hey, that was a clear falta. Also, arbitro didn't call a clear penalty for us in 1st half; and on that play, he gave yellow to Ornelin--conditioning him fo rest of game.
ANother game the defense played generally well, getting vaccinated on a counter. If our offense does not score, they are also to blame for not helping the defense. TOday, we should have lost, and the defense would be easy to blame. We are pretty bad on counters, but I have noticed that many of those counters commenced when the offense lost the ball, leaving us in a tough spot behind...or as Kanesters calls it: en la cueva.
I've been spot on so far with my predictions. However, teams can go from hot to cold from one game to the next: case in point Pumas. Pumas has not been able to recover from the Shark bite at home and now suffered a second straight defeat against the Tijuana Doggos. If someone was to have only seen Pumas last two games they wouldn't guess that they are on top of the standings. That said, Chivas game against Pumas will be at Ciudad Universitaria. I don't see them losing two in a row at home. My prediction is a defeat but much like the Pachuca game I believe Chivas has what it takes to steal some points from C.U.
Was at Magic Mountain today so I missed the game. My friend was texting me saying Chivas has been playing well and that Gael Sandoval was balling Sucks we didn’t get the win but at least we picked up points in these last two games. Always gotta find the silver lining I’m happy the team has been playing well collectively for the most part and that Almeyda has been making changes to the lineups, but mental farts and wasting chances have been killing us!
They can't score, so ties and losses have a really high probabillity. It's 33.3% for each prediction as is, but the fact that we struggle scoring...it's higher than that. ANyway.
We need pizzaro to get his scoring groove. The championship run had pulido, pizzaro, Zaldívar etc al scoring goals
