Girona wanted Elis back in 2016. http://www.diez.hn/legionarios/1153...berth_elis-hondureño-monterrey-houston_dynamo He will def get good offers this summer.
Whose our starting striker.. Choco o RoRo? Olimpia with a new camada of young players getting playing time under Restrepo. Jorge Alvarez, Alejandro Reyes, y Jose Garcia Pinto. Vasquez hands youngin Jack Jean Baptists his debut in Liga Nacional. He ended up assisting Rubilios goal. Calix scores in Marathons drubbing of Progreso.
Elis plays RW all the time wym. Unless we go 4-4-2 which was rare under Pinto.. I think that 4-4-2 is outdated rn but to maximize our attack its our best option.
It's our best option because we don't have a real CAM, Alex is the closest that we have. Unless we try to play Quioto as CAM and put Chirinos in his place and Najar gets healthy and we put Elis up top.
I think Najar should move to RB and move Beckeles to CB. Buba; Espinoza, Beckeles, Henry, Najar; Elis, Mejia, Acosta, Quioto; Choco y RoRo If we're trying to fit everyone in.
Ill be shocked if Motagua gets a result against Tijuana today. Over/under goals Xolos will score today.. 3 I'm going over.. 4.
Good news they only lost 1-0. Meanwhile Olimpia tied 1-1 with NY Redbulls, with a penalty scored by Bryan Moya.
Good and bad.. Motagua lost the home leg due to incompetence up top in front of goal, but at least it was by the minimum. They'll probably fold in Tijuanas synthetic turf. Olimpia played like pure trash. Restrepo is utter trash as a coach, probably get routed in New York.
I agree that Olimpia's coach is bad, but to be fair to him they lost 4 key players before this tournament began. Not saying it would have helped them though.
Houston Dynamo in advanced talks to get Darixon Vuelto http://www.elpais.hn/2018/02/23/darixon-vuelto-pie-dynamo-houston/#.WpGJgwgl7gU.twitter Please let this happen this the perfect spot for him to land since Houston sold Cubo Torres.
Update: I guess some reporter on Twitter says it's not true because Houston doesn't have his Discovery Rights.
Darixon Vuelto to sign a three year deal with Portland Timbers.. Is that bad or good? I don't keep up with MMLS
Bad imo, he is going straight to Timbers 2 they won't see him as a guy who can contribute immediately. I wish that he would have gone to Houston he would have been 2nd or 3rd option.
Listening to Portland fans they say both their starting strikers may not be with them next Year, and the rest of their strikers are young but untested. so Darixon may have a chance to break at 3rd string this year, Houston would have still been the better option.
Honduras to sacrifice their dignity in Seoul against South Korea on May 21st. This federation can only conjure up one phucking friendly because the price isn't right.. Smh what price? They want other federations to pay a mansion for each player to play a friendly? Gtfo.. This federation is the reason why we're not at the WC to begin with. Incompetence.
Motagua tied Tijuana 1-1 in Mex, not bad. they are Eliminated though. Olimpia has no chance they have like 6 players not going because of Visa Issues.
Walter Martinez is playing his way into the NT right now. I wonder if Marcelo Pereira opened some eyes in Mexico. Olimpia crashing out unless Wilson Palacios suits up or something.
Sucks that our teams couldn't play at home, Motagua could have beaten them imo. Olimpia has no chance all of their offensive midfield is gone, Moya,Salas,Canales. They would need a miracle.
I already hate this move, told you he is going straight to PT2 in the USL http://www.oregonlive.com/timbers/index.ssf/2018/02/honduran_striker_darixon_vuelt.html
Olimpia lost 2-0 vs Redbulls, from what people have been saying it was a clean and competitive match but Olimpia blew 6 chances to score. Chirinos was the most impressive player on the field for Olimpia he was doing work on the field. If anything I'm just happy that both Motagua and Olimpia didn't play dirty Football against big teams. That bad reputation that our Country has at Football is undeserved and irrelevant at this point in time.
Doubt that many teams would use a DP slot to get him he would be a 1 million dollar transfer, Houston probably would though. His manager said that he has offers abroad in Europe including 2nd Division of Spain, i would rather he go there instead of the MLS.
