Danilo Acosta didn't make the Final 20 for the USMNT, hope that they will ignore him for a while and that we can steal him somehow possibly for the Gold Cup.
Honduras U20 call up list http://www.diez.hn/laseleccion/1147291-498/sub_20-honduras-convocatoria-mundial_2019
Massive: Choco Lozano signs with Girona FC of La Liga contract lasts till 2022, he becomes the 1st Honduran in years to sign to a top 4 league.(last person I believe was Espinoza to Wigan). http://www.diez.hn/legionarios/1147771-498/antony-choco-lozano-girona-primera-division-españa Girona is currently in 10th place in La Liga table.
Anthony Lozano officially presented at Girona FC, he will wear the #19. http://www.diez.hn/legionarios/1148023-498/antony-choco-lozano-montilivi-girona-barcelona El Choco Lozano a #Montilivi pic.twitter.com/PhnrvLVRyU— Ràdio Girona Esports (@SERGironaEsport) January 31, 2018
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018...s-prospect-danny-acosta-living-american-dream I can already tell where his dad mind is at cuz I see it every other day here where I live especially during club soccer season. Luckily Honduras currently has a deep and rich talent pool so he won't really be missed, but for all intensive purposes wouldn't still mind having him.
Yeah reading the article I can tell that his father wants him to play for USMNT, he is going to be with them until the U23s and hold out as long as he can. He isn't ready yet since he got cut from the final roster for the Bosnia game and even that MLS only camp of players were bad. Interesting that he has a half brother, wonder if he plays too.
Bryan Acosta dreams of following Anthony Lozano and playing in La Liga http://www.diez.hn/legionarios/1148...imera_division-españa-messi-cristiano_ronaldo I would not be surprised to see him getting 1st division offers in just his 1st year especially if continues to start until the end of the season, he has been killing it so far and has been getting attention in the press. Tenerife would sell him if it means getting a profit back because he was a free transfer.
Espanyol B have extended Cristian Calix's trial and will stay there till February 13.http://www.diez.hn/legionarios/1148...ir-ahora-espanyol_barcelona-honduras-marathon According to his Agent there is real interest from the club and it's possible that they make a deal in the next few days.
17 year old Honduran from Fundacion Marcet has signed with the Houston Dynamo after a successful trial and will play with their Dynamo Academy team, he will join them in June when he turns 18. His name is Caleb Rubio and he is Jonathan Rubio's little brother. http://www.laprensa.hn/deportes/1149646-410/hondureño-houston_dynamo-volante-futbolista-caleb_rubio- Hope that it goes well and the he can work up the ranks to get a HGP contract.
update from some of our Euro players Jonathan Rubio has been a consistent start for Gil Vicente this season with 19 starts and 23 app he has played for 1689 mins and has 1 goal. His team is in danger of being relegated hope that he can jump to a better one this summer. Bryan Rochez has not seen much game time for Nacional since they are stacked at the forward position only 9 app with 3 goals in 376 mins he also has 3 yellow cards though. The only thing i don't want from him is to give up and return home, he needs to stay in Europe. Rigoberto Rivas has not seen much game time for Brescia but it should not come as a surprise since he signed super late and it's his debut pro season, 11 app for 327 mins. Brescia looks like it might descend, just hope that Inter will loan him to another Serie B team for next season and not a 3rd division team.
Both Bryan Acosta and Alfredo Mejia have worked their way to becoming starters for their teams. Alfredo Mejia has 16 app 13 starts for 1169 mins he also has 2 goals, Xanthi fc is currently in 5th place in Superleague Greece. Bryan Acosta has 17 app 13 starts for 1206 mins for Tenerife, they are ins sticky situation because place 11-19 are pretty close in points but i doubt that they get relegated this season. Hopefully Tenerife becomes our Wigan of this generation and signs more Hondurans, but that is just wishful thinking.
Seems like he's as good as gone. Good yob. http://www.diez.hn/liganacionaldeho...es-real-españa-paulo_hernandez-darixon_vuelto
I think Real España learned well from the Acosta situation. Either sell while they're hot or risk losing your player for free.
He is being Linked to Portland and FC Dallas, I pray that he doesn't go to Portland they will just send him to their B team in the USL. I’m hearing Darixon Vuelto from Real España is heading to the MLS to play with the mighty @TimbersFC #RCTID reports in Honduras also mention @FCDallas as a possible destination.— Eduardo Solano (@newguayork) February 11, 2018
Kinda feel bad for Jonathan Tejada, and Brayan Velasquez, they should have forced their way into the USL like Jose Escalante. No doubt that they would get a chance there with amount of growing teams 33 plus right now.
No games or us in March, Fenafuth is a goddamn mess. http://www.diez.hn/laseleccion/1150...uegos-amistoso-marzo-mundial_rusia-entrenador
I might be wrong but someone has said that Caleb Rubio will play with the Dynamo Academy until he turns 18 and will then get a HGP contract with the 1st team. If so that is good news, he will still most likely spend 2 years with RGVT in the USL.
Olimpia finally building their own training center. http://www.diez.hn/liganacionaldehonduras/1152030-498/olimpia_honduras-construira_sede-sector-mateo
Cristian Calix returns to Honduras, looks like they said that he needs more muscle mass on his body. http://www.diez.hn/liganacionaldeho...gosto-podría-volver-fichadoespanyol-barcelona
Liga Nacional looks mfkin terrible rn. Clausura lookin like a glorified playground league. Olimpia vs Platense last night was the saddest excuse of first division soccer.
