A source has confirmed to me that the Portland Timbers have acquired El Salvador midfielder Andres Flores from the New York Cosmos. He is expected to provide depth in the midfield #RCTID #MLS Looks like they finally listened. Now to see where Menjivar and Dustin end up.
Wow it finally paid off for him, it took a hell of a long time. Wish him luck and hope Dustin can sign too.
Isn't that HG kid who just signed with SJ Earthquake, un Guanaco? He's their youngest player ever signed.
Well how about that? Turns out he’s half Salvadoran, half Guatemalan. At this point, it’s safe to assume he’ll want to continue to represent USA. Equipo de la MLS ficha a salvadoreño de 15 años
Also Alex Roldan was picked by Seattle Sounders in the Superdraft, brother of Cristian Roldan. https://www.soundersfc.com/es/post/...ortunity-after-being-drafted-seattle-sounders
Yeah I’m not concerned at all. With the exception of Roldan, 4 years since I’ve been following them and neither Flores, Sorto, Zavaleta, Moreno or Amaya have played one game with USMNT or La Selecta. I’m kinda over it these days.
Well this one came out of left field. But I’m happy for him and I hope it works out. I say this since Ricardo Clark has moved on to join the Columbus Crew, personally I’m bummed that he left but if it opens up that spot to Ceren I’ll recover.

He would be better off playing in El Salvador but I guess something might have happened that led to him leaving abruptly. I remember he was getting praise from the media and fans so I guess “they” got to him.
Such a shame in the under 20 world cup and his speel at firpo, he reminded me of a young Ramon Sanchez. Sadly he has kicked on.
Darwin Ceren scores a goal in his debut with the Dynamo as they go on to win 4-0 vs Atlanta United. Ceren was subbed in at min 15, Arturo Alvarez subbed in at min 68.
Been a long time since I posted updates here’s a few. Márquense 0-7 Municipal Jaime played 67 minutes and scored the first goal in this route at around the 9th minute. Coban Imperial 4-2 Suchitepequez Kevin played 56 minutes he then received his second yellow. Rough outing since the team is in danger of relegation. Santa Rita 1-1 L.D.U. Loja Lester was not called up. Here are a few from a while back and some updates IA Akranes 4-0 IBV Derby took a beating in the cup game that’s all there is to say. Meanwhile in Thailand Bonilla has been tearing it up so far he has 5 goals in three games. They play tomorrow so hopefully he can keep it up. As for Denis currently he has been mainly coming off the bench, currently Santa Clara has bounced back and currently holds first place hopefully he can find a way to break through to the starting XI. Jesus Christ way to kill your career, FYI NASL cancelled this years season to no ones surprise. Really stupid for him to go to a team that has no future, they must have paid him good money though.
I chatted with someone on Twitter and I stand by this statement. Dustin Corea is our Freddy Adu, so much hype on this kid and he can’t seem to stay in a club for that long. I think he just never matured mentally because he could have made a career over in a Scandinavian league or in Sweden where it looked like he was clicking with that second division club before leaving for “personal” reasons. I know he was hoping for Portland to stay close to home but I think his agent should have told him to look at other options, it’s crazy that he never made a push for a Mexican 2nd division club where he might have found a fit.
