Rashica came in for him in the second half. Looks like it was a non-contact injury, he just started limping and asked right away to get subbed.

unfortunately, nerve damage to the extent he had, will limit any elite athlete.

he is the most complete MNT #9 of his generation, when healthy. that part makes it even worse.

    No diagnosis yet:

It was sudden, and the pain must have been excruciating because he asked to get subbed right away.

actually since the next WC is in the Fall he'll be 32.;)

yeah towards the end of the 1st half he was basically limping. Can't stay healthy.

Has been a pretty bad season for US players in Germany and injuries.
Aron, Chandler, Brooks, Johnson, Wood, Wooten, Boyd, Weston. You also have in the youth levels, Corey Anton being out for basically the whole season.

why would I? I don't root or love seeing anyone getting injured.

so because someone states a fact about things that happened this season, it means they are happy about injuries? You have serious issues bro, if you think like that.

    Aron scores Werder's second! Lovely.

He was subbed out at the half. Leverkusen tied it up with a brace from Julian Brandt. Game is now tied up 2-2 in extra time.

looks like Bayer Leverkusen's hoodoo of never beating Bremen in the Cup is getting closer to ending. Shame now we'll never know how much influence Aron being out had on the game.

Thought that first touch was just a tad too big at first but he finished it well.

Kohfeldt added: "it's not something to cause us a big worry."

    So it doesn't sound serious.

So relieved it’s not serious, and he was able showcase why he should play a part on the team again.

Man thats heartbreaking about Aron... I really liked his play as a forward he just can't shake the injury bug. He'd be a starter in my usmnt- injury prone starting XI (Now I kinda wanna do one).

That's good I suppose. Hard not to think that ANY injury Aron gets is serious though.

Shoot. At this point Brooks could be the other CB.

And on the bench we'd have Gyau, Gatt, Wooten, Boyd.
