I don’t have much to go off but I was curious as to why Lamar Batista wasn’t on the T2 roster after what seemed (statistically) a good rookie season. I didn’t some research and it look like him and Tim McLaughlin who I saw mention briefly else where were at FC Nürnberg. Here’s a tweet from presumably Tim’s mom.

FWIW, Tim McLaughlin is the husband of Liz Mclaughlin and is the owner of OKC Energy. Lamar is their son! But very nice find!

    From Lamar's college bio:

Lamar DeShawn Batista was born on Mar. 7, 1998 to parents Tim and Liz McLaughlin in Waco, Tex. ... Has three siblings, Matthew, Garrett, and Libby.

Since the names don't match, this is an odd way to word it, but oh well.

@bungadiri -- You can take "... and Tim McLaughlin" out of the title.

That's confusing. Was he born by Tim and Liz or adopted?

    I'm betting adopted.

Boys, take a look at the family photo in moms twitter account, and that should answer your questions.

That's where I looked. Hence why it's a safe bet.
