I am soooooooooo excited!...........an attacking player!.......................... a mover, a shaker, a player on the maker!.............Fans will love him!............ Players will love him!.............. Friedel loves him!.... Yeah, your thinking "Pulisic?", maybe "The Return of Younger Clint Dempsey"? .... Oh no, so much better, so much more exciting! Let's welcome the Newest Rev, the 3 Million Dollar Man, the great, not late, Balotelli!........................
Weird rumor out of Argentina where a member of the media there tweeted that Newell's Old Boys were interested in Diego Fagundez. My translation might be off, but it would appear to be some sort of loan deal, that I can't imagine the Revs would be interested in.
Not worth even considering it, coming from a Liverpool fan. Then again, there's pressure in Europe. Maybe if he came here and didn't have to o worry about pressure he would be able to score some goals like he did in France.
He's scoring in bunches for Nice. An easier league seems to agree with him, but his level of "don't care" if he came to MLS would be legendary.
Don't we have the first spot in the allocation list? I read this yesterday: international Emerson Hyndman is considering a move to MLS, Metro's Kristian Dyer reports. The 21-year-old midfielder has failed to break through with Bournemouth and reportedly has drawn interest from several MLS clubs as he pursues playing time.
https://www.mlssoccer.com/allocation DAL currently #1 on allocation list (trade with LAFC). NE at #9. Hyndman is not on the allocation list.
The Argentinian league runs August to May. A loan for Diego would presumably end in May. He'd miss less than half the MLS season and possibly come back a much better player (I remember how well he played after his stint with the Uruguay U20s). I wouldn't mind this at all, especially if the player wants it, and if the Revs get some fee that translates into allocation money.
I just remembered that Diego's girlfriend is pregnant with her due date sometime this spring (given that he "announced" early, Oct 15). Given that, I think it's highly unlikely that he goes anywhere on loan or permanently.
They have hospitals all over the world. Yet no one's come for him yet, so he's probably staying. I'm surprised. I thought he'd catch the eye of some mid- and lower-table teams in Europe's better leagues.
I doubt she'd want to switch OB-GYN's right now. Besides, our hospitals are pretty good. Remember the Delemeas stuck around so their kid would be born here.
I got a better job when my wife was at 6 months with our first-born. We moved, she got a new OB-GYN, easy peasy.
If the kid is born in the USA he/she is a US Citizen. I don’t know anything about Diego’s wife. Maybe the kid derives US citizenship from her even if born in a foreign country.
Someone posted a few weeks back about a player from Malmo that was linked to the Revs. Wonder if that is still the case. They meet up on 11 days to play
If you are referring to Tinnerholm, he ended up signing with NYCFC: https://www.nycfc.com/post/2017/12/13/new-york-city-fc-sign-anton-tinnerholm
