Alexis Sanchez will wear the '7' at Manchester United and closes the door to the possible signing of Cristiano Ronaldo Mourinho will not bid for CR7 or Bale With the arrival of Alexis, the Portuguese coach has enough in front: Alexis, Martial, Rashford, Mata, Lukaku and Lingard. Mourinho will not sign anyone else in this winter market and in summer as he will focus on strengthening the midfield and defense . http://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2018/01/19/5a60eb03ca474148358b4601.html
Just don't see anyone wanting Ronaldo for the wages he will demand. We can't keep him with the same salary either as he will continue to sulk through the media. He apparently earns 24 ME nett. Maybe we will offer 30 ME? Messi's 50 ME is out of reach unless he goes to China. Honestly, I am ready to sell him unlike last summer given his form and age. We gotta prepare for the future anyway and it doesn't seem like Ron has much left in the tank.
Marotta: '(Dybala) is a very strong player, on which we are pinning a lot,' he told Gazzetta dello Sport. 'Dybala will undoubtedly remain at Juve, also because we do not need to sell anyone, unless the player asks (to leave).' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...et-Dybala-wont-leave-Juve-unless-asks-to.html
My main concern about this transfer window is that we go OTT and completely ruin the squad. Maybe get a younger goalkeeper, but besides that, I can't see how we can improve our team apart from the striker position. Buying Dybala whilst loaning out James just seems pointless to me and a typical example of the grass being greener on the other side. And also putting Isco on the bench and Asensio further down the pecking order also does not sit well with me. The above is one of the reasons I feel we should have gone for Sanchez or Aubameyang. May have cost us a decent amount but would have been our only needed signing and most likely will preform until a younger prospect becomes available. Navas Carvajal Varane Ramos Marcelo Casemiro Kovacic Asensio Isco Bale Aubameyang I would welcome a new keeper but would have no concerns if Navas stayed Happy with our defence and options on the bench Feel that it's time for Modric to drop to the bench, even if it's just for the sake of promoting our younger players. I feel that Kovacic is ready (though Kroos would likely start) I feel for most games we can afford to swap a CM with an AM Never been a fan of Bale on the right as he can't cut in and simply is not agile enough to play in that position Never been a fan of Asensio playing on the left because because his talents are wasted putting in crosses And we just need someone who can put the ball in the back of the net
I'm wondering if everyone is being a bit too premature with killing off Ronaldo just yet. It's clear he's having an awful season (like the whole team) but i still see him in good physical condition and still getting into good goal scoring posititions. I think his problem is mental. Once a few golazos go in...the ketchup will flow.
I think the summer transfer window was good in that we reinforced midfield, defense and I'm really happy about the potential with those signings. That said our attack was basically ravaged because Zidane and Florentino didn't appreciate the issues or just didn't have the will or bandwidth to address. This summer changes absolutely most be made and that includes Bale simply because of the injuries. I don't think it will be easy but we risk the entire project if we don't send a message to the team that we compete for trophies not qualifying for CL football. If the club fails to do this I'll have serious concerns about priorities and ambition.
James to El Chiringuito: “For now, I’m only thinking about Bayern. No-one knows what’ll happen in the future. “My present is at Bayern, and it depends exclusively on me if I’m going to leave or stay.” http://www.goal.com/en/news/james-t...-really-tough-real/1dv7nlor2l0rp1vyebwdvfyfhy Bayern signed Goretzka as well. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jan/19/transfer-roundup-bayern-munich-leon-goretzka

A no to Lewandowski, the team should be looking to get younger upfront not older. That ship sailed years ago. Also don’t see how he and Ronaldo would coexist in the same team with both players expecting to be catered to. Lewandowski also publicly threw his teammates under the bus last season for not giving him enough service to win the golden boot. Imagine the outrage if Cristiano ever said such a thing. Honestly have no clue what the club has in mind to reinforce the attack next summer.
Messi is on 35 to 40 don't let the fool media have you because he ain't winning the champions league every year .
Spiegel claim to have the actual documents of Messi's contract. Fixed annual wages till 2020/2021 season: 71.053.846 Euro He got a 63,5 Million Euro signing fee for his new contract and a "loyalty bonus" of 70 Million Euro for staying at the club. If he wins the CL, he gets an additional 12.057.513 Euro bonus. If he plays over 60% of all Barcelona matches until the end of his contract, it will cost Barcelona 106.347.115 Euro per season, even if they don't win anything. If they win the tripple, it will cost them 122.515.205 Euro. Spiegel posted those in the print and online editions and nobody came out to claim they are mock ups or false.
Yea I can’t come up with any club in Europe who would pay him the wages he wants and where a move would make sense. At the same time, I think Flo will stand firm refusing any improved contract based on the leverage he has and Ronaldo’s declining form. He will call his bluff and tell him and Mendes to bring us an acceptable offer if he really wants to leave. Looks like this game of chicken and drama through the media will continue well into the summer and possibly beyond. Can’t wait
You just figured that out? Zidane have been openly saying it. Perez is not about to admit his summer failure. We're going to finish the season with the same starting 11 that we've been using.
Zidane on Neymar “I do not talk about players who are not mine. Having said that, which is very important, everyone in the world of football loves this player, he is a great player,. Zidane on Ceballos “Dani is happy here, and that is what is important for me is what he says when I talk to him. This is an important year for him, to train well and think of the future, even if he does not play much.”— Dermot Corrigan (@dermotmcorrigan) January 20, 2018 Zidane: "There is no problem between club [hierarchy] and me. We are not going to sign anyone. If you ask someone else they might answer, but for me there is no difference of opinion between club and coach."— Dermot Corrigan (@dermotmcorrigan) January 20, 2018 Zidane asked if Vallejo injury means change of plans, maybe go into market. "No, nothing [has changed]" he replies.— Dermot Corrigan (@dermotmcorrigan) January 20, 2018 https://as.com/futbol/2018/01/20/primera/1516449581_163144.html
Plus, anybody who is available and suits us is available in the summer as well. The League is gone, this team can still win the Cup, and the CL is a huge gamble + quality players are cup tied. The reality is we're looking at a possibly titleless season, so spending big on making it a fancy titleless season does nothing for the club long term. We're spanning youth team players up left and right in Spain it seems so the club is doing what Hoeneß said Bayern want to do (and are actually doing themselves if you follow them). Focus on grabbing every good domestic talent before they cost a fortune and gamble on them,
