Great day so far. Once this weekend is over I think we will begin to see the shape of any overseas signings the FO has been planning.

I think we nailed it with the draft...or about as good as we could get. Decent depth! Now, can we get 2-3 guys who could be starters? Maybe get that 10?

I hope you guys aren't getting too excited about the college players drafted. Futbol players develop better in the club system.

So did the Loons end up with that Cameroonian striker from Union Douala, which is in 12th place of the Cameroon league? This is too funny, but it hurts. But hey, Union Douala might be on the same level of play as Dartmouth.

Bluecat82, I liked your example sentence: The glacier will arrive soon. This could become the MUFC motto!

No, I think we did quite well for the/a draft. As I said, still would like them to draft a few more players actually competing for starting positions.

    Supposedly yes.

Can I assume that most of the college draftees will be sent on loan to USL squads? As you said, they will most likely not compete for first team positions so to improve they will need lots of playing time against better competition than exists in college.

However, Mason Toye looks like a good draft choice. He is still young (19) and played only one year in college so his jump to pro ball now is a good move.

I still can't believe that MU is using an international DP slot for a 24-year-old Cameroonian who hasn't made it into a European squad yet. Okay, he did play with some Swedish club, but then he went back to Cameroon. Red flag that.

If they are signed, then yes. Wonder if we will use Pittsburgh like we did for Greenspan? Let’s just say for the moment that they do not acquire another fullback, I can see Manley getting a bit of first team action. I can see Omsberg being this years Greenspan....some minutes, some starts, and a lot of playing in USL.

Not sure who they treat Toye. He’s definitely a longer project and I am not sure he sees a lot of first team minutes...maybe a Cup role?

Pangop? A DP? News to me. From the recent Greder article, they were close to signing possibly two DPs, and they both fell through. Pangop has good speed and takes on defenders, so I think they see him as a late game wing sub.

Hopefully, we start seeing some trades as well.

If they were to pick him up, I think they would then jettison Ibarra, and maybe Nicholson.

Bit surprised they haven't traded Ibarra yet.

Okay, so Loons are supposed to be considering one more Cameroonian, and the coaches watched Royal Excel Mouscron play Zulte Waregem.

It has to be either Frank Boya (https://us.soccerway.com/players/boya-frank/431315/) or Fabrice Olinga (https://us.soccerway.com/players/fabrice-olinga/260263/). I can't see any other Cameroonians in either squad.

Yes, lets make this one happen. Asad would be a great addition.

I think someone said on reddit that it might be Mchael Ngadeu-Ngadjui, who plays for Slavia Prague, as the Czech transfer window opens this week.

Keep an eye on Collins Fai (Standard Liège) as well.
