Judging from this video he resembles a Paul Pogba type of player.

Looks as if he dribbles well in tight spots, successful standing tackles, height, agile etc ..

Im not calling him the next pogba, but I can see why Tare might justify spending 10M on a 20 year old. Its a big risk they are willing to make.

For a big guy, he has got good dribbling ability. Looks like a box to box midfielder to me. A good addition since Parolo will inevitiably get suspended with the amount of cards he picks up. I see him playing like Parolo, breaking down the opposition attacks and then driving forward.

If this guy is legit and remains outstanding.. him playing with Biglia and Parolo would be scary. Those 3 Feeding Anderson Candreva Klose, I just got hard a little. Cataldi Lulic ready off the bench. This could be special.

Decent mercato, considering our CL fate hasn't been decided yet, there can be even more deals one way or another depending if we make the CL or not.

We've managed to hold onto Biglia it seems and awarded him the captaincy. Real apparently offered 26M euro.

Lotito and Tare want to ensure CL qualification knowing this opportunity doesn't come often. If we can keep our stars and add for the future then we can't ask for anything more.

The only blemish for me is losing Mauri and to a lesser extent Cavanda who I've thought has been good performances over the years.

The only blemish for me is losing Mauri and Ladesma. Never rated Cavanda. Too hot headed. He would always do dumb tackles, giving away needless free kicks and getting bookings. A lot like Cana. Speaking of which, we should get rid of him as soon as possible. He is waste of of the big wages he earns. We luckily got rid of Ederson, hopefully Cana follows suit.

Not very good. I would rather him not come here. He was poor last season and looks like he just does not care. I think he would ruin the dynamic within the team.

I would for the right price. There were rumours of L'pool paying more than half of his wage which is an exorbitant 6M. If we can lure him on loan for 2 or 3M with an option to buy and only have to pay him say 2M a year then sure. He's still relatively young and talented, with someone like Klose around he may turn his attitude around, not to mention our fans are very demanding with regards to effort level. Our forwards are asked to cover plenty of ground and work tirelessly off the ball, something Mario isn't always up for. There's a worry about his laziness and of course his attitude rubbing off on our younger players like Felipe, Keita, Kishna, Cataldi and Milinkovic-Savic.

I feel Cavanda has improved every season and I thought he would have been poised for a real break out season, last season had Basta not played as well as he did. Still we got something for him at least.

The loss of Mauri is going to hurt, he really offered us moments of brilliance when necessary last season, not to mention his leadership.

Id welcome Balotelli. I dont think hell change if he comes here though. Hell still be pissing off coaches and teammates, giving half ass effort in training, doing stupid things in free time, but if he gets 20 goals a season then I dont give a damn. His potential is undeniable under the right conditions.

He was sold for a pittence which gives a indication of what the club thinks of him. I think he had a potential to be a good right back. Strong, with pace but you can not cure stupid. His mindset was wrong.

CL matchups have been set. We play Bayer Leverkusen to get into the CL group stage.

Not a terrible matchup, Sporting would have been the best, but we also avoided Man U and Valenica. It would have been a tall order to go to Old Trafford or the Mestalla to go through to the CL.

Leverkusen have been regulars to the CL lately, while they're a decent side we can certainly cause them problems. Italian teams both club and country usually fare well vs German teams. We brushed aside M'Gladbach and Stuttgart a few years ago in the EL, Napoli destroyed Wolfsburg the 2nd place team in the BL last season, and Napoli were far from their best at that time. Kiessling is a very good player, Bender is good as is their Korean player, they also have a young promising Turk named Calhanoglu but they also lost Castro who was their talisman.

To me this is tie is 50/50.

Tall order to get past Leverkusen, who are extremely strong at home. We almost certainly need a win at the Olimpico. They have a strong pressing game and are extremely good on the counter attack. We need to score first and then counter them.

Leverkusen are a different from Stuttgart and Monchengladbach. They were average teams with no real quality. Leverkusen possess the quality to really hurt us so we have to be at top shape.

I would have liked Sporting too.

That being said I agree the most important thing is we didnt get Man U or Valencia.

Still.. Leverkusen has to be favorites. A good league season and also did well for themselves in Champions League last season. We cant be considered favorites, but I believe it may just be two hell of a games.

Zarate in a purple jersey. Strange.
He said he will always have Lazio in the heart. He did too many great things with Lazio in a short time and had a unique bond with the curva nord. It is still a mystery what happened to Zarate's extraordinary form with us.

Atleast he will have the opportunity to tip his hat to a real champ, the successful striker of Lazio, Miro Klose.

Hey you guys should sign last summer's target Azmoun in the next transfer window. He is a beast from Iran. His record in this season's Russian league is 0 goals in 17 games. Extremely exciting talent.

Azmoun's latest record is 1 goal in 19 games. You guys should buy this golden kid from Iran as soon as possible. Your strikers seem useless. Lazio needs Azmoun!

Lazio is the second highest scoring team in Serie A and Immobile is the top scorer in Serie A. How is that useless?
