    some Reese updates!

also seems like Kaiser is going to Hamburg.
    http://sportbild.bild.de/bundesliga...n-abloesesumme-rb-leipzig-54502288.sport.html

this could be the chance for Abouchabaka, Stierlin, and Majetschak to be RB's back ups when injuries/suspensions happen. Although RB could easily buy a player but even then they used to be behind 4 players now that number has decreased from 4 to 1 left and if they buy someone will just be increased to 2 players, which is still better than 4.

Shame that Poznanski has chosen to go to Bayern. He better be good or else it's not likely he'll get a first team chance there. Jano Baxmann who used to be an important U16/17 NT player left a couple seasons ago for Dortmund, and has now fallen significantly off the radar.

Makanda has better chances to breakthrough at FCN over Bayer.

Appears like the Sandhausen report earlier is now off. Shame that FCN didn't make a move for Knöll. I think he could have been a better fit than Palacios to replace Teuchert. Maybe Arminia Bielefeld could work if they end up losing Voglsammer and Klos.

Bayern Munich have Oliver Batista-Meier, Fruchtl, Adrian Fein, Lars Lukas Mai, Nitzl, Evina, Wintzheimer, Poznanski, Timothy Tillman, Torben Rhein, Leon Fust and Lasse Gunther ......

    all good talents.

But how many will make the first team?

    I think Oliver Batista-Meier has a chance;

    Poznanski will be better than Freidl at LB, i think the latter is better as a playmaking CB;

    Fruchtl....may need some time

if Umaro Embalo really goes to RB, I think Fabrice Hartmann needs to leave RB. His contract expires in June 2019 too. Both are 16 years old and RW but Hartmann didn't cost $20 M investment. Even though he's excelling in the U19 level whether the German U17-U19 and the Nations League don't think it will matter as his chances to breakthrough will be even smaller than before.

RB Leipzig's academy is all smokes and mirrors. Kind of like a marketing campaign to draw in players, but they don't end up getting a chance. Majority of the promising prospects within their academy they've had has eventually left.

I agree 100% that it's a scheme which is why it annoys me when so many German youth prospects go there. It's like stop being drawn by quick/easy cash.

between, Abouchabaka, Kuhn, Stierlin, Ludewig, Hartmann, Majetschak, Rezai, Borkowski and a few more. Kuhn is the 1st of the bunch to realize that it's pointless and left. A player like Abouchabaka should have stayed at Hertha were breaking through would have been highly likely even this season. Most of these players are better off somewhere else. Now if they stay they are likely to struggle to ever really breakthrough, maybe even waste a few years. This is a reason as to why RB have 0 min from their own youth players, the lowest in the league.....

interesting bit about Kuhn to RB.

    https://www.welt.de/sport/fussball/...Nicolas-Kuehn-wechselt-zu-Ajax-Amsterdam.html

also some bad news related to German U21 player in Klostermann. Seems like he's at risk of losing his spot to Laimer even though he's not even a RB. Was played at RB vs Schalke and had an assist.

Journalist: 'Kühn sometimes compare with Messi'

Earlier this week, Ajax managed to take over Nicolas Kühn from the youth academy at RasenBallsport Leipzig. But who is this young German attacker? Ajax Showtime talked about it with Robert Dost , journalist of the German Sky and watcher of RB Leipzig.

Many people wonder what type of player Kühn is. Is he a real center striker or can he also manage at several positions? Dost gives the answer: "He can play both as a striker and as a winger. He is small, fast and a good dribbler. What are lesser points? His right leg and sometimes he is somewhat selfish. Who can I compare him to? Maybe, and hopefully, sometimes with Messi. "

In addition, Kühn also fits well in terms of his personality, it seems. 'He was often a bit shy, but also diligent when I saw him at the main force of RB Leipzig. I think it's normal for young players to be somewhat shy. It will probably be different with players of his own age. I have never heard or seen that he would be lazy or undisciplined. "

Dost says that Kuhn is one of the greatest German talents in his generation. His departure from RB is therefore regretted.
For me it is a big loss. Leipzig has lost several talented young German players the last year and everyone is amazed about that. They want to develop young players in their own training, but none of the players from the first team come from the youth academy. That is a much discussed subject in German football at the moment. I think they had a plan with him, but maybe he was not (yet) good enough for trainer Ralph Hasenhuttl.

At RB Leipzig Kuhn still had a contract for six months, but Ajax still chose to get him to Amsterdam already. For this it had to transfer a transfer fee of two million euros from the German club.

It is a lot of money, but if you look at the current market, it is actually very cheap. Especially when you consider that there was a clause in his contract that RB Leipzig had the opportunity to extend his commitment until 2020.

For Kuhn himself there is really only one reason to leave RB Leipzig and to opt for Ajax. Play time, playing time, playing time. In Leipzig he only played for the U19 team and never got the chance in the first team. In Amsterdam there are more opportunities to develop. Maybe he will take Younes's place, Dost concludes.

I think it has more to do with Hasenhuttl. He is not a coach who trusts youth players directly out of youth academy.

Looking at his track record in Ingolstadt, he played a rather old team

Looks like he prefers young players with a bit of professional experience. I think that will become a trend too, so players heading to Eredivisie for some pro experience is actually a good thing. I personally think its a lot better than staying in teams' u23 and playing in the 3rd or 4th division

Eredivisie is still a top division in holland, i think equivalent to second half of 1BL and first half of 2BL.

    looking at this chart

    https://www.welt.de/sport/fussball/...er-Fussball-Boom-ausgerechnet-in-Holland.html

we already have 21 players (excluding Kuhn) in Eredivisie. Mark uth, Gosens, Younes have also spent significant amount of time in Holland before they emerged.

I think this can be a trend and can be good for some of our younger players. Bayern, BVB, Wolfsburg and Leipzig would send some of their younger players like Wintzheimer, Tillman, Janni Serra, John Yeboah, Ole Pohlmann, Jesaja Herrmann and Hartmann to Eredivisie for a season or two to gain pro experience

I think I recall something about Hasenhuttl's training methods not really allowing a good read on the youth players. Basically not really amounting to much showcase. I believe during the Winter camp, some of the youth were training with the U19 even though they played in that friendly.

as for the Eredivisie, another thing to consider. Kuhn went to Ajax who have a pretty decent chance of making the CL qualifiers. So not only is it a chance at 1st division football but also a chance to play in Europe. So depending on which club they go to they could be playing some Europe as well. Which means we could see an 18 year old Kuhn playing in CL/EL next season for example.

I do wonder why stop at the Eredivisie why not also loans to Belgium, Portugal etc. Loans in Germany seem to much Germany focused,

Schwaab is also playing for PSV

The best way is our players have chance to emerge in Bundesliga. And that usually happens to top talents like Havertz, Henrichs, Geiger, Arp, Gianlca Itter, Arne Maier and co.

But those those are 2nd tier or below? Especially in Bayern, Wolfsburg, Dortmund and Leipzig.

I think Adrian Fein, Wintzheimer, Tillman, Nieland, Janni Serra, John Yeboah, Jesaja Herrmann, Davide Itter and everyone from Leipzig need a loan move
