Note that the order for deportation came through immigration court in 2009. It is not as if this was sudden news. Supposedly Garcia was hoping DACA would be extended and expanded for those of his age. So Obama ********ed him over.

I know but I’m saying it’s a dumb move regardless. Waiting around for someone else to fix your problem is no way to go about things

The illegal community has taken for granted that nothing would be done. Now that the law is being enforced, they are crying foul.

I don’t understand this government shut down issue because in actuality , it never really shuts down. From what I gathered though , the Dems want to shut it down over illegal immigration? Which country in the world has a government crisis or shuts down over illegal aliens?

Chuck Schumer is now voting to re-open the government! Say what you want about Trump but Chuck has to be the biggest clown I've ever seen. The guy is a walking sack of potatoes! What exactly was accomplished by this weekend government shut down?

Worse is that he has the gall to blame Trump for the shutdown. The more Chuck and Durbin push DACA, the less empathy I have for those under it. It is getting to the point that I would rather see all of them deported.

Yeah he even made up a sign calling it a Trump shut down. I don't care how much you hate or think about Trump but who believes this and worst of all who does this?

I am not a Trump fan, but the liberals are absolutely repulsive, We are a country of law or we are not, simple as. If the liberals in particular do not like the law they could have legislated change when they had the majority.

I find myself in the uncomfortable position of agreeing with Trump that the law is the law and if you don't agree with it change it, but not enforcing it is not an option.

I am sympathetic to an extent to the plight of the DACA, but like the guy that was deported last week the whole fecking story was about how he had been hard done by and not a single mention of how he could get married and not get a green card and fix it all nice and legal.

I also think that if the people that hired them were held accountable for the lack of or fraudulent nature of the I9 then this problem would have gone away a very long time ago and both sides do it. It would likely hep the economy too and all this talk of raising minimum wage would be moot since there would be more menial jobs than folks willing to do them and Reagan's trickle down might be more than just pissing on me by those who have profited unfairly by the availability of large numbers of undocumented unskilled workers at the expense of natural born citizens who are low skilled.

Yup. All the pay booths were empty, though. And all of the self pay kiosks had out of order signs on them. I feel bad for the folks who paid in advance, though. I'm sure a lot of folks do.

And it's my land (according to the signs).
