My opinion is really that it seems to be a selection for 'this century' not for all-time (a bit like when stats companies say best X or most X in Premier League or Champions League history but they didn't start recording the stats until sometime this century!), but that said it seems to be a nice collection. Maybe somewhat hard to separate a lot of good nutmegs in reality, for quality/effect? I'm sure this selection is a little Spanish league biased for example, but maybe that's to be expected - these are the players and memories familiar to the writers at Marca.
To illustrate my ideas, I tried to come up with 10 others (not to say it is a better selection but it is a different selection): - Bergkamp vs Lazio 00/01 nutmeg pass assist - Nigel Clough vs Tottenham 92/93 nutmeg pass backheel assist - Ronney to Berbatov nutmeg pass for Man Utd I vaguely recall (maybe an assist, maybe 09/10) - Pele vs England 1964 (I think there is a good one in the build-up to a goal, but anyway Pele has various ones we can see even with the limited footage available) - Savicevic vs AC Milan 1988/89 - Pele vs Eusebio (Santos vs Benfica Intercontinental Cup) - Best vs Cruyff 1977 - Zidane vs Belgium 2004 nutmeg assist - Zidane vs Brazil 1998 nutmeg pass - chance created - Deyna vs Yugoslavia 1974 World Cup
Most iconic panna skill by the phenomenon Ronaldo's 97/98 UEFA cup performance was ridiculously good (a few tiers above anything maradona produced at the UEFA cup and European cup -and probably in contention for the greatest individual campaign in a major European cup season (i.e. Champions league,European cup,cup winners cup,UEFA cup, europa league) Most people remember the lazio performance (the skills against nesta ,the dummy on the goalkeeper etc) but against schalke, neuchatel, etc he was unplayable never seen similar levels of performances except from maradona (in select games I might add) and messi (his 2010/11 season comes to mind)
