If Vegas was making odds on CP's next club move, it's mostly likely to be Bayern. Bayern is aging very quickly, they are a well known poacher of BL talents. They can/probably willing to pay what BvB would be realistically seeking.
Not really sure you can point to a particular generation when you have old owners spending the money on young players, with middle-aged managers and agents agreeing to it all. The issue appears to have more to do with an uneven distribution of an incredible amount of wealth than it does age. In the old days, fans would be rightfully ticked off if their star player went to their rival for the going rate, because that going rate was not likely to be a club-altering amount. But if a guy like Dembele had been purchased by Bayern Munich for what Barca paid, what really could any sane BD fan do but hope that money is invested wisely on new players?
With the emergence of both Gonzo and McKennie, the right coach would not need to know the name Bradley.
I was going to add that I can watch the other euro leagues on go90, but I realize I don't use it as much because it's a bit of a nuisance and flaky, having to go into the app, then I AirPlay it over to my tv. More moving parts equals more likely to time out when a critical point in the match is reached. Are we spoiled? Compared to the old days, heck yeah, but if given a choice, I would prefer the game be on FoxSports or NBCSN.
Money for winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup ? United States – £1,000,000 each England – £650,000 each Germany – £650,000 each Spain – £700,000 The US would no doubt have walked away with the World Cup had they beaten Trinidad and Tobago.
easily the us was going to be terrible at the wc but he would've done well and bd is touring the us next summer it would've been a perfect situation for advertisers. He would've made a lot of money.
Overall I'm the kinda guy who prefer some of our guys stay at clubs where they can carve some kind of legacy. Where they can start consistently and be club stars and win trophies. I'd love to see him at Barca, but hate if his role is simply as a super-sub for 5 years running. Not so bad playing for the 2nd/3rd biggest club in Germany and consistently getting Champions League and fighting for the league title or for the domestic cup.
Kinda how it was for Dempsey. I was glad to see him move to Spurs (though shame no bigger clubs in Italy or Spain weren't interested). But i'd have been happy to see him remain with Fulham for a few more seasons. He's still their top PL scorer and probably gonna be that way for a decade or so.
