He was subbed in and was behind Leicester's winning goal against Newcastle:

Okazaki is the shit =). What an outstanding performence today. He is Leicester City. Last Game he was the "winner" with his forcing to a oponents own goal to 3-2 and this game he is the absolutely winner with 2 goals and 1 asisst.

Almost scored like Clad said but his shoot was deflected on the line...and another great opurtunity but where Okazaki was total free in middle of the goal but Vardy ignored him a little.
After that Okazaki missed a cross by seconds.

With a little luck he could scored 4 or 5 goals today =). Love Shinji

Yet Shinji managed more goals than Mahrez and 1 less than Vardy while playing half the minutes they played.

For me he is a starter in the WC. With no doubt, always been. But I wonder if Vahid think that? Just look at the game yesterday, he was a force!!

    For sure he's a resource.
He's so good in some movements that I could even see him at 2022 WC.

Who is better when he plays like this? Plus he is a great goalscorer for the NT.

Does not start. On bench after 2 goals and 1 assist.

    Unbelievable.

Yet gray and Vardy who played double his time and scored half the amount of goals he did in the same time are starting.

    Undervalued, underappreciated, unacknowledged

Absoluteley insane and understandable. Sure grey is in good form either and Shinji played some days ago so the coach is surely thinking of some fair change and resting thing BUT

How can you humiliate a player like that, he was in ********ing great form before the coach was arriving and put him on the bench for weeks. Then he came in provided the winning assist last week and scored 2 goals and a assist some days ago....and now the same ?

With 2 goals and 2 assists of the last 2 games you get to play, no matter even if messi, ronaldo or Lewandowski is your rivals in team. YOU GET TO START, point ! Very very sad for him

By the way it shows the players you can do what you want, score and assisted and play good but there is a starting eleven into stone and you cant get into it. Very sad philosophie.

It doesnt hurt someone if Vardy gets on the bench and Okazaki is the on man foward. He does it for Mainz 2 years superb and he deseve this start more then Vardy who doesnt scored that often last games.

Saku i know but no matter what, you scored 3 scorer points in the last game, you play, point out.

Calm down, this is a busy period of the season and rotation is common.

Plus: add to that the nature of the opponent, if they are more physical then Okazaki will most probably start from the bench.

The man is absolute legend, but I think he should be managed, because he had a little flexion in the last year.
