The fact that you even asked that is a joke, and only you, in your own unbelievably one dimensional way, even though you have convinced yourself you aren't. I know I am sounding harsh, but it is only because you are way to sure of your own open mindedness when time and again you show you are not. The way you read into my response of course reinforces this. My response states I want competent over cool. That is it. Nothin more or else. I am way above your type of "open mindedness" because I don't feel the need to qualify to people like you that I don't discern over who or what they are. I don't give a s**t if they are purple from Saturn. Competent is my criteria, and I don't give a s**t otherwise. My posting history, even right here in this damn thread even shows that. I am full on board with Kathy because she fits the bill. I don't care otherwise. I have a work and hiring history, along with a bunch of BS diversity awards (yawn) to bear this out. I'm also not afraid to call out folks who show that race/gender does matter to them, and then hides behind the PC social justice platform when you call them out. To me it truly doesn't matter. It's one dimensional, self righteous people with soap boxes I have real issues with. They are the true DIVISIVE makers in our society today. Left or right, and I wish they would die in a fire. I never had a lawsuit against me in 40 years of upper management. Unheard of....outisde of one. There was one time when I had to let go a black female employee who was simply terrible. Got the NAACP and some real "cool" social lawyers to come after me. Guess what....after all the interviews in office and reviewing my history, and insane moey and time wasting that comes with it, they were told to F Off and sue if they wanted. They backed off. I found out every female and black employee backed me implicitly, bashed the person I let go, and some even apologized to me for that person. My response.....I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. An asshole is an asshole no matter who there are. Competent is competent no matter who they are. I am so far above your Daily Show PC BS it's not even funny, so go make comments to the idiots on here where it easy for you to be smug and smart, and keep ignoring all of the idiocy on the left because you are so open minded calling that out would be wrong. I hate you all...equally. I can tell Bill Archer to F Off the same way I can tell you, and if you take it personally, and it hurts your feelings that speaks even more about you as a person, and your open mind. I don't give a shit about "cool"....at all.
I remember a National Lampoon parody of something that had letters to the editor. One of from the residents of Uranus, saying they were so sick of jokes about their planet's name that they were going to change it to "F---face."
Kind of like the couple of seasons he had at Kansas City where he built a squad that thoroughly sucked? One that relied heavily on Kurt freakin' Morsink? A player whom Onalfo held in such a high regard that he made it a point to drag him to DC? I'm just going to laugh and keep on laughing until it gets painfully awkward and then laugh some more.
Not that I want to go all English soccer cliche, but the internet generation has completely lost the narrative.
Strange choice of team headlining the NASL Twitter account. But then only one Soccerbowl winner has actually survived.
Some interesting stuff here ... https://www.soctakes.com/2017/12/09/nasl-retains-ip-unless-buyout-clause-paid/ We are live. NASL retains IP unless buyout clause is paid: Via @SocTakes https://t.co/Cl9n7xo9za pic.twitter.com/mU6ynSxOZH— Nipun Chopra, PhD (@NipunChopra7) December 10, 2017
Remember when “owning your own brand” was a selling point of the Superior Business Model? Good times.
It sounds like as long as they stay in NASL, they do. If I remember the complaints about USL’s rules correctly, it was that the league gets final approval on brand decisions while the team is in the league and allowed the league to impose brand decisions. It didn’t seem like NASL had that final approval/imposing and for teams that aren’t interested in league hopping, that could be a selling point for NASL over USL.
I was referring more to the rationalization by NASL owners that their league’s business model was superior to MLS’.
