Let's make that push to get back to the Super League!!
A good start in the Europa Liga - a road win in Wales. Belle Vue - Rhyl 29/06/2017 First qualifying round , 1st leg Bala 1-2 Vaduz Zárate 21 (0-1)_ M. Brunner 29 (0-2) Venables 61 (1-2)
Vaduz win their home leg against Bala Town 3-0 on two goals from Aldin Turkes and one from Marco Mathys, and take the tie 5-1 on aggregate. They will now face off against Odd of Norway on July 13 at Rheinpark Stadion and in Norway on July 20. Odd defeated Ballymena United in the first round, and are currently in the middle of their season where they are in 8th place. Vaduz still have two weeks until their season begins, so they can put a little more into these two games, but it's definitely not a matchup where they look like huge underdogs. It will be considered an upset if they win, but they could've drawn a much harder team in Galatasaray in their pool. HOPP MIGHTY VADUZ!! Onto the second round!!
Good work KSC! I was waiting for the Odd game to finish. Thanks for the additional details. More good work in the Europa Liga - a second win over Bala. Rheinpark Stadion - Vaduz 06/07/2017 First qualifying round , 2nd leg Vaduz 3-0 Bala Turkes 22, 39 Mathys 43 Aggregate: 5-1 Next UP: 2nd Qualifying Round Vaduz vs Odd (Nor) - victor 5-0 aggregate over Ballymena(NIR) July 13 at Vaduz July 20 at Skein, Norway
If they make it through (and it is a tough ask since Odd was the better side yesterday), it will be virtually impossible to get through Dinamo Zagreb. It's about damn near impossible to get through to the Playoff Round.
They don't need to worry about Dinamo, as Vaduz lost both ends of the tie 1-0 to Odd. Time to concentrate on returning to the Super Liga.

No idea what happened with FC Vaduz 2 - which plays in the Swiss 2 Liga. The schedule for the Cup play is: 1. Vorrunde: Di./Mi., 22./23. August 2017 2. Vorrunde: Di./Mi., 19./20. Two of the worst teams in Europe play a friendly today between Liechtenstein and Andorra. It will start at 1:00 P.M. USA Eastern, which is between 4 and 5 hours from now.
That's a little insulting to both of these countries. The population of Liechtenstein is 38,000 and Andorra is 78,000. It's hard to develop players when you don't have large populations.
VADUZ!! Liechtensteiner Cupsieger! Meisters for a record 47th time! Vaduz 3-0 Balzers Goals scored by Maxi Göppel, Marco Mathys, and, in his final Liechtenstein Cup, Franz Burgmeier. Hopp Mighty Vaduz!!
Vaduz draw Levski Sofia from Bulgaria in the first round of qualifying in the Europa League. Vaduz were an unseeded team from Group 8 meaning that they'll host the first round on July 12 with the return leg exactly one week later in Sofia. This will be the first time that Vaduz will play a Bulgarian club.

Vaduz draw Zalgiris from Lithuania in the second qualifying round of the Europa League. The first match will be played in Lithuania on July 26, while the second leg will be played in Vaduz on August 2. The winner will face the winner of the tie between Ujpest of Hungary and Sevilla of Spain. I'd love to see Vaduz play in Sevilla, even if they wouldn't stand much of a chance.
I think that Vaduz has a good chance against Zalgiris. I would also love to see Sevilla play in Vaduz. Tickets would be pretty pricey for that one. I wonder if they would put up temporary stands to increase capacity.
They're unable to do that. What they would do is sell the stands behind the player benches as an away section. They typically close down that section and only have the two ends and the main stand open, but when they play a big team they'll open the 4th section behind the player benches, and close down the normal away end. Vaduz has such a tight budget that they don't have the resources to open up all 4 sections, especially for Challenge League and early Europa League rounds. I would very much doubt it would even be a sellout of the 3 sections if Sevilla came to play.
