No idea why he thought Napoli needs to win by 3. Even if GD was the tiebreaker that wouldn't have been necessary

Thanks, bro. I thought goal differential was the first criteria. So 6 points is doable and Shakhtar play ManCity on the last day so there is a better chance than I thought.

Also Pep talked about playing hard vs Shakhtar despite already in the knockout stage.

What else is he gonna say? But yeah, the B team will play hard. They're professionals after all.

Ya I agree he`s kind of forced to say that .. You know... being a coach and all. The B team will probably try but I`m not holding my breath to see them go the extra mile just to help us

With Maggio playing and Hysaj as left full back with a midfield 3 of Zielinski-Diawara-Hamsik, expect a loss or draw for Napoli today

I think you should be able to beat Feyenoord. They really are not a good team at all, in fact they are the weakest side in UCL this season if you ask me.

The problem is though Man City in Ukraine. Man City do want to play intense so there is a good chance, but the fact that they don't really have anything to play for says something. They actually started many of their first team players in today's game by the way.

How do you figure Man City want to play intense and that there is a good chance. Man City will play there B team against a team who will give 150% just for a draw. The conditions? Ukranian winter. It's ranging about 10-15 degrees Celsius in Manchester right now. It will be anywhere from -5 - (-10) in Ukraine when they go to play there. As long as no one gets injured for Man City that will be looked at as a win

Yeah, City have a match in Old Trafford that same week - a match that could pretty much seal the English championship. We know where their focus will be.

It will be a total B team from forward to goalkeeper. But then again their B team doesn't suck .

I wonder what Man City's B team looks like. I'd be keen to see more of Bernardo Silva.

English teams in Europe this week:
    3 wins, 1 tie, 3 losses

German teams in Europe this week:
    3 wins, 0 ties, 3 losses

Italian teams in Europe this week:
    4 wins, 1 tie, 1 loss

It's important to note that It wasn't that important of a week for English teams due to I think all of them except for Everton having already won their groups in Europe.

Similar story about the Italian teams in the Europa League who are all favourites to win their groups. Juventus and Roma are expected to progress to the R16 for the UCL and Napoli is I would say 80% going to end up in the Europa League.

Bayern is the only certainty for the R16 at the moment but possibly Leipzig can join them but will remain in Europe regardless, Dortmund will be going to the Europa League most likely. German teams in the EL have been disappointing, Hoffenheim won't advance and neither will Hertha Berlin, Cologne has about a 60% chance of going through but they're playing away to a team who is tied on points with them for that 2nd spot.

All in all England will be 6/7, Italy 6/6 and Germany 4/7 in my opinion.

The percentages listed above are all based off the top off my head

    Wait a minute,

Serie A Teams had: 3 wins, 2 ties, 1 loss

By the way I think Cologne has only a 25-30% chance of advancing. They have to WIN away from home at Red Star Belgrade. A draw will send Red Star through. Something they have never done this season, and they are at the bottom of the Bundesliga table. The only reason they beat Arsenal was because Arsenal had absolutely nothing to play for.

Napoli, Lazio, Milan and Atalanta = 4 teams. Juventus = 1 team. Roma = 1 team

Therefore, 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss

    Ok for UCL:

All EPL teams through: Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, and Man Utd as winners, and Chelsea as runners up.

Wins for Liverpool, Spurs, and Man Utd. Loss for Man City although they really didn't need anything from the game. Draw for Chelsea.

Juventus and Roma through, Napoli to Europa League. Wins for Juve and Roma. Napoli is really a laughing stock today. They lost to Feyenoord? And not only that but Feyenoord were down to 10-men for like the last 25 min of the game.

Bayern Munich to Round of 16. RB Leipzig and Dortmund to Europa League.

Now for Europa League, Milan and Lazio have nothing to play for as they are already through as group winners. Atalanta is also through but still needs to win the group. I really hope they do because Atletico Madrid are the strong Europa League favorites at the moment and they are seeded.

Hoffenheim and Hertha Berlin are out, and I believe Koln will very likely be out as well. Don't see them winning away from home.

Arsenal is the only EPL team still in Europa League.

    So after tomorrow:

Bundesliga: Dortmund and Leipzig (Köln if they are lucky)
Serie A: Napoli, Atalanta, Lazio, and Milan.
    EPL: Arsenal

Arsenal will likely make quarterfinals at least. They are one of the favorites, but I honestly do not see past Atletico at the moment.

Napoli are likely second favorites after Atletico, but still I have a hard time seeing them getting past, and one of my doubts is how seriously Napoli is even going to take this. Atalanta will likely make quarterfinals at least unless they get a tough draw. Same with Lazio and Milan. I really like Atalanta this season in Europe. They look like the hungriest team in the whole tournament so far.

Dortmund I do not see going anywhere. I do not even know how seriously they will take this, and they have been shocking recently. Maybe Round of 16 if they get a lucky draw. Leipzig however might surprise us and go to quarterfinals at least. They seem like a team that could cause damage.

Regardless though with Atletico here, I am having a hard time looking past them. CP Sporting, Atalanta, Dynamo Kyiv, and Zenit probably have the best chance of stopping them. No way will Napoli get past Atletico at this rate even if they are serious.

England with already 15.2 coefficient points this season! Nobody except Spain ever hit 20 in a whole season.

The 1-1 tie was costly for Chelsea though. They will most likely face either PSG or Barca in the next round.
But at least a couple of EPL teams will be solid favorites to advance to the QFs given options like Porto, Shakhtar, Basel and Sevilla.

Honestly I am calling it. Chelsea vs PSG. I wouldn't rule out Chelsea though against them. Remember the only real team PSG played so far was Bayern and they won one and lost one. For PSG-Chelsea, I would give PSG a 58% to advance. Favorite but not my a lot.

I gotta say though one EPL team at least from the winners is bound to draw, Real, Bayern, or Juve. Remember they cannot draw the teams from their own group either. Mark my words at least one of Liverpool or Man City will get a tough draw. Man Utd and Spurs will get easier draws.

Expect Napoli to go out R32 or R16. No one wants to be in this comp. We have a good chance of Serie A if that's the only comp. we need to worry about

I am afraid you are right. I say round of 16 unless the get a tough draw, but likely they will get Villarreal and be knocked out of round of 32 :(

So England has five teams in the round of 16, the first time any country has had that many. Additionally, four won their groups, also (equalling?) a record.
