Yeah, we're not even halfway through the '17/'18 season yet, but the basic information about next season was already published a while ago, so I thought it might be nice to start the thread. Plus, we can use this thread for now to track qualification spots from leagues that don't have standalone threads (Germany, England, France, Italy, Norway, etc.)

But as for the info about next season:
--Hungary will host a major women's final for the first time as the 2019 final will be played in Budpest
--Switzerland (not the Netherlands) jumps into the top 12 - commandingly so, getting all the way up to 9th, meaning a slight chance that their RU will get a bye to the R32 - at the expense of Scotland.
    --dates are also released

I believe 17 teams are already qualified; not sure how many more will be before the calendar year runs out.

I think that Spain should be a league to get its own thread here soon, but until then I guess this thread would be the place to talk qualifiers... Though at the moment there probably isn't much to discuss, and not because it's too early - unless someone collapses or someone else goes on a tear, the top two already seem pretty much decided with Barca and AM tied for first and 7pts clear of the tie for 3rd after just 8 matches! Interesting.

That's why I like this forum: the info about the final in Budapest was out there, but I wouldn't have caught it yet if I wasn't hovering here all the time! :)

Well, maybe I spoke too soon! Mid-table team Granadilla beat Barcelona 1-0 with a goal from American Jackie Simpson (recently of FSU), leaving Barca three points behind Atletico Madrid and just four points ahead of Athletic (Bilbao) after ten games played.

Anyway, another league to look at:
Denmark is nearly over with its fall season, after which six of the eight teams advance to the spring championship round, with all either teams having played 12 or 13 of the 14 total fall season games. If we can roughly project the main round results to the championship round, looks like Fortuna will win the league and Brondby will take the second UWCL spot.
