Tu bien sabes, que cuando le dices a un Mexicano que no haga algo, mas lo va a hacer, y con mas ganas. Somos tercos hasta la madre.
lol he finally grew a pair.. usually has others do his dirty work to show he wasn't affected or felt insulted..
Man, b/w Peru getting back to the WC finals and Cruz Azul getting back to the liguilla, it's been such a good week on the sports front that I've given myself the liberty of pretending that college football doesn't exist.
This subject is so annoying, I only want to stop the chant to stop hearing english speakers bitch about it every FKN game

Pero gritándolo cuando sabes que tu equipo puede ser penalizado te hace un naco. I was also against banning the chant but people are acting like it's a foundational part of Mexican soccer... It's not. Hope it goes away and people start focusing on stuff that really matters.
Exactly. These thin skinned duses need to let this die organically, it will eventually go away, but if they keep trying to tell fans what to do, the more resistance they will put up. I doubt penalizing points will make much of a difference. Just let people be. Agree 1000% Fück those put0s.
I'd be good with points or costing us a spot in the world cup...fcuk it...idiots gotta learn somehow...it's well worth it in my opinion.
That's how it started. It's not like there was a movement to start the chant. I truly believe that the only reason it's still a thing is out of spite. This fad will not end if people keep bringing attention to it.
There are countless traditions in sports that started organically but never died. The easy ones tend to stick around the longest. Yelling a single word during a break in play is about as easy at it gets. Something that both causals and hardcores can understand and do easily.
If anything, the status quo suits FIFA to the bone: placate the international SJWs by "doing something" about the chant and hitting the FMF with fines (and everyone else in Latin America for "el que no salta es [insert rival] maricón") while not actually risking a big team missing out on their tournaments over non-violent fan behavior. ...well, I guess Chile did miss out on the World Cup, but 1) there's no debate about the homophobic nature of their fans' chants and 2) calling them a "big team" is generous at best.
