I would have replaced Alex Sandro with Benjamin Mendy as well.

Hmm Mendy is still a little unproven if you ask me.

I don't see how we sell Sandro for any kind of money without getting a replacement first. Even at that... How do you build a team selling off the best players every year? There's absolutely no reason to sell Sandro.

Yeah, but considering how good he is already, and he still has that kind of potential...

If he can stay fit, Mendy is the type of player where the question of his potential is not ‘if’ but ‘when’. It’s not a matter of if he can become world class, but when.

I like Alex Sandro as much as anybody here, but based on his form this season, you could have replaced him with any average fullback and gotten the same production. Unless someone throws an obscene amount of money at us, you don't sell when a player's stock is down.

Any idea why Bentacur is left out? Is he injured or just because he is getting back from international break?

Just pathetic. I wonder if anyone is going to point out how Bernardeschi's poor clearance cost us the first goal the same way we kill Alex Sandro when he makes a mistake.

Asamoah should be sold at the winter break. He's utterly useless.

I'm so disgusted with these guys today.

Ironically, if the defense wasn't utter shit, we could have still snagged a point.

Agree. Much more competition, the team has regressed and we are kind of old.

I just hope we don't get thrashed by Barca, that will really put this team in the gutter

I'm hoping we get a point but I don't see us winning that game. Messi is going to run wild.
