BTW, I heard over the weekend that the players do not like playing for the NT. The players union started a squabble about fees for shirt sales with a player’s name on it. Damn primadonnas on that team.
I've known Sunil for almost 30 years. In fact, spoke to him yesterday (Saturday) as he was at our meetings. Spoke to Eric & Paul Calugiari too. Has he made money in other soccer ventures? Likely. He is a professor of economics at Columbia University. That is his real job. The president of USSF is a volunteer position. Always has been.
Next time you speak to him, tell him he shouldn’t have ever hired Jürgen Klinsmann! On another note and after thinking it over more, neither Landon Donovan or Eric Wynalda will resolve technical problems , technique , improve skills or do anything else for that matter. It’s not the USSF that needs changing , its the powers that be who run the USL, NASL and especially MLS.
The youth may be the overall problem but you need to improve the pro leagues as well. If the leagues get better, the national team will also improve. That is true of most national teams.

Mmm yeah. I don't know what to think of that guy. Everton certainly didn't do him any favours with the transfers this summer. Bringing in 3 # 10's with similar athleticism/attributes for big money didn't really make any sense. I dunno.
Ranieri is now killing it in France. Nantes are currently unbeaten in their last 8 games and are sitting in third. Only two points behind Monaco.
No idea how real this is, but someone elsewhere on this forum posted renderings of a stadium in New York built literally on top of Newtown Creek. I assume it would be a logistic nightmare, but it would definitely be one of the coolest stadiums in North America.
QPR just got fined £40 million and may have to pay another £20 million at the end of the season for failing FFP so badly. They might be one of the worst run clubs in recent years.
924286662116507648 is not a valid tweet id Congrats on winning 1-0 at home. Chievo had that figured out years ago.

Yep, amateur British football is like indoor soccer. Run as hard as you can and kick it. Kick it where? Don't think, just fcuking kick it.
No, that game there was an organised level amateur match, like they take in serious in a proper league format. Sunday pub league is a whole different ball game. It's just a random bunch of guys, some old, some fat and younger players who've played for their proper team on a Saturday (like in the clip) and turn up still hungover. Then you go for pints after again.
What was the NJ keeper thinking when he positioned himself on that free kick? Is he not aware that style of kick is Giovinco's trademark. He was nearly hugging the far post.
The little French guy curls in a beauty. Falc "is was a miss directed and over hit 5 yard sideways pass" Nice hat trick for the left back kurzawa. Not to often you'll see that.
