Garces has looked laughably bad today. Hope it's just a one game deal... but yikes.

    Random thoughts:
    - The US misses Durkin in the middle.
    - Why was Dest on the bench?
    - England is bigger, faster, and overall better.
    - only Carleton, Sargent, and Durkin would make this England team.

England players are more athletic but this is meaningless at the U-17 level

Wow. This is terrible. The positioning is so horrible, if they don't make a change England will score again while putting in 50% less effort.

Good game for the kids but punished for mistakes. No profound problems in development.

Game over. Garces looks awful, way too many turnovers be the midfield and fullbacks, endless horrible finishes from our attackers. Really disappointing game

And that should be the game.

They just know how to shoot better than we do this evening.

We need players with better ball skills to do that.

That's it guys. It's been a nice run. Congrats to England and good luck to them going forward.

Hopefully some of these kids will show at the next level and I hope the best for them as well.

Watts has been horrific. Hack starting him over Dest is laughable. We're missing Goslin and Lindsey today for sure.

Too easy, really bad in transition... Hate being right about something negative, but this team isn't setup for success.

This has got to be a coaching issue from top down.

This competition was just toon skilled and and athletic for a realistic shot.

We had chances but it doesn't really matter when you get absolutely dominated everywhere on the pitch.

    1. Hackworth makes this tactical adjustment taking out Booth.
    2. Shape and organization go to hell.
    3. US gets over run in midfield.
    4. Wheels come off.

US coaching at its best. No doubt Hackworth is rewarded with a few more chances to f--- up future generations.

He's decent stretching out and diving for the ball, but he isn't very clean with shots closer in to his body, and he has shown no desire to come out and challenge for crosses or corner kicks.

What are the odds he's named interim manager when Tab Ramos decides the interim tag is beneath him?

Lol Watts just slowed down and swung out wide to get that ball and let the CB for England beat him to the ball. Lazy.
