Clucas, Carroll, Sanches and Fer (CAM) all started in a 4-3-1-2 system. I think Ki could easily replace one of Clucas or Carroll (even Sanches but he has a starting guarantee). Fer can fight with Mesa for the CAM position (unless Clement changes the formation to 4-3-3 again).

i can't believe they doubled down on CMs after last season.

But I think if fer not at top, Carroll there; if clucas not at base, mesa; and depth chart remains unclear on left.

Clement says that Ki hasn't returned to training but should be back soon.

A healthy Ki is important to both KNT and Swansea. If Clement learned anything under Ancelotti I'm sure he will appreciate Ki. But yeah the question is does he still have the fire and hunger?

No one really knows what kind of form and fitness he's in. Clucas and Mesa are deeper CMs so I'm expecting them to be ki's competition.

    From the Planetswans forum:

    Yet ANOTHER MAJOR HJ gaffe.....

We could have signed Joe for £8M early last summer and could have sold Ki for £8M to Stoke and balanced the books....but IT NEVER HAPPENED ... .FACT.

Yet we (sorry HJ that is) decides that Joe is not worth £8M and despite Joe & his family WANTING TO COME HOME we let it go and he goes on to have a great Euros where his price goes up to £12M, HJ says we'll give you £10M & then Joey phuks off to Stoke (yes Stoke I said) for £12M ....

If you need yet ANOTHER example of how inept and absolutely Phuking useless our self styled 'Director of Football' (aka a former local league goalkeeper) and Bankrupt ex Caseys owner is the this is it ......

Funny how so many on here were slating a player whose desire and will to win dwarfs Ki's.

If Ki can get his "hungry" mentality back, I have no doubts about him. We need a strong Ki so I hope he can stay fit and get a lot of games for the remaining season.

I think he will be pretty driven ahead of WC. Hopefully his health cooperates.

The Swansea fans also seem to have realized that Ki is their most creative CM (if he wants it). Last season they were mostly hating on him (that's why PC says he's being underrated). Now they are finally acknowledging him again in the forums. It doesn't hurt that lads like Fer or Mesa have not impressed.

Honestly if Ki is firing on all cylinders we might have something resembling a chance at the WC. He makes our team tick and he can do the same for Swansea too, as shown in the past.

Jeeeez maybe LCY won't be the only Korean who will get relegated from the EPL this year.. Ki was okay, but some of his teammates are not on EPL level

Six PL CMs and yet using Routledge and Dyer still.
