    hi, guys.

    Hope y'll is doing well.

I know I've been away: as you know I got married last year, this year we bought a home, and recently adopted a dog. So now as a typical married man, I don't have time to do sh!t, ha!

I also recently underwent knee surgery so was pretty much bedridden for a good month.

Chile's last 2 games were horrible. I didn't think the Confederations Cup was all that bad for my boys: just lacked a clinical finishing touch that has been missing since the Copa Centenario maybe.

But the games vs Paraguay and Bolivia were awful. Played off the pitch, no question about it.

Just hoping now Vidal doesn't make any social media posts before the Ecuador match, because when he does he tends to have a shit game.

    Well, that is it.

Wish you guys well and Godspeed.

    Metro

The match of the day is Peru Argentina. It doesn't surprise me that they would show it. And yeah will be nice to finally see Peru on TV live instead of streaming.

Those were the official prices, but the tickets were sold out in less than an hour...

So the guys that resell (what was the correct term again?) them are having a field day...

I heard the entire section of his rant. It was funny but at least he's loyal to his team.

    That's mathematically impossible.

Asuming all results do give away the biggest amount of qualified teams for next WC, after next thrursday, there will still be 2 intercontinental playoffs which decide 2 teams; 4 european playoffs which decide 4 other qualified teams; and at least 3 of the 5 african groups, must still play their last match, which is in November, which means, that after "next" thursday, there will still be no less than 9 teams still to get qualified to next WC.

9 teams, out of 32 available spots, is almost a third of the amount of teams that will take part, next WC. So "lots of water must still flow under this bridge" to have more than 90 % of qualified teams to the WC.
    ;)

In that case, at most you can get 60 % of certainty, after next thursday, as only Uruguay and Colombia can lock-tie their WC spots by next thursday (joining Brazil), if they can win the points they require to do so (1 point for Uruguay, and 2 points for Colombia, as with 28 pts, at least you get the playoff spot).

For the last direct spot, and the playoff spot, you'll still have to wait for the last match-date to take place, as whichever results happen next thursday, at least 3 teams will still have chances for any of those 2 spots available, for the last match date.

    40's: Soriano (River Plate)
    50's: Este si no se
    60's: Seminario (FC Barcelona)
80's: Barbadillo (Tigres) o Navarro (Independiente)
    90's: Nolberto Solano (Newcastle)
    00's: Claudio Pizarro
    10's: Paolo Guerrero

    70's: Carlos Caszely (Colo Colo)
    80's: ni idea
90's: Ivan Zamorano (Real Madrid) y Marcelo Salas (River Plate)
    00's: Que yo sepa ninguno
10's: Alexis Sanchez (FC Barcelona) y Arturo Vidal (Bayern Munich)

    Colombia

    70's: Willington Ortiz
    80's: ni idea
    90's: Carlos Valderrama entre otros
    00's: Falcao (Porto)
    10's: James(Real Madrid) y Cuadrado (Juventus)
