Yup. Donna has 70 ME buyout and PSG offered a great deal this summer. Can't see us matching that when we didn't for Mbappe. I think he will stay at Milan for couple of seasons and then move to PSG. Kepa for free would be a smart move.

 

Wow do you even watch/follow football? No way is Atletico selling Griezmann to us. Same with Laporte given their relationship with RM. DDG saga is over.

 

He probably meant matching their buyout clause. Griez has 100 ME clause which is not much in this market. Don't forget we signed Theo 'cos he had 24 ME clause. Atletico chose to negotiate to get few more millions.

 

I am not convinced about Laporte. Looks like an eternal promise to me. And experts who watch Bilbao regularly say he has one mistake in him every game. Hasn't rectified that yet. Wish we had signed Bailly when he was with Villarreal. His profile is similar to that of Pepe and Mou probably scouted him during his impressive game against us.

Dunno much about him either. Highly rated teenager who plays for a good side in France. Has 40 ME buyout. All top clubs are linked with him. Maybe ZZ rates him highly.

 

Is this release clause confirmed or speculation? I've seen that it arose to 200m as part of his new deal but goes back down to 100m next year .. not sure how true. Would be a steal in the market.

Malang Sarr is also really good. Plays similar to Umtiti.

 

I say invest. He seems to be the best up and coming Spanish GK right now and is already an international with the NT. It's been blessing the team investing in local youth. Fucx Donna and De Gea. Sissy boys that don't have the balls to make big boy decisions.

Same. Greedy agents and RM usually doesn't end well. Kepa looks like the stable option long term.

 

We wouldn't take anyone on a free transfer from a La Liga club, we'd pay the current club something. I'm pretty confident about that.

 

I'd rather go for Sevilla's Rico. IIRC he has a buyout clause of ~30M.

Regarding my DDG and Griezmann decision, it comes down to the CL/WC. I think France/Atletico and United/Spain are going to be in the semi-finals of the WC and CL and I expect Flo to try to sign both of them.

I just realised that Emre Mor is playing for Celts Vigo this season. He was very impressive in BVB. I think we should keep an eye on him. His dribbling, close control and acceleration is second to none. He just needs to improve his decision making and that comes with experience. He is still 19 so he still has time on his hand. Let's see how he progresses in LA liga.

 

TFW you see that Pepe Reina is still in the NT and that doesn't mean much since DDG is a guaranteed starter no matter what. Spain has been rotating 2nd GK for a while now too. Even Asenjo got a couple of call ups.

Rico is more experienced with this being his 4th season in La Liga and in European competitions compared to Kepa's one La Liga season.

 

Rico doesn't look RM quality to me. 6 or 7/10 in everything. Kepa's reflexes are on a different level and he's improving every season. Rico made a silly error in CL playoff too to concede a goal. He's a step down on Navas without the upside of 2015-16 Navas.
