    Kebab truck, here I come!

I think we can safely say that the Wembley hoo-doo is a thing of the past after a magnificent win over Dortmund, a battling 0-0 vs Swansea and a convincing 1-0 battering over Barnsley.

I can especially say that as our next 3 fixtures are away!

Yeah I got friendly with a few of them 10 years ago when they were in Ken Bates hell and playing in the 3rd level. I had sympathy but they never lost their arrogance.

just how good was Ginola that season?

and the Cup semi final extra time loss to Newcastle was right up there amongst my most frustrating days of supporting Spurs. we had our chances, and absolutely should have put them away in regular time.

I wouldn't be that pissed about a semifinal again until Jum threw away the Portsmouth game.

I'm gonna get a taste of Elland Road in a few weeks here. I'll be up for Barnsley at Hillsborough on 28 October, and it turns out that Leeds/Sheff United has gone to the Friday night. A mate's sorting tickets, so I'm going to see two Yorkshire derbies inside 24 hours.

Leeds and United ... can you imagine the stench?

Was this a Tottenham v. Barnsley or Burnley v. Leeds thread?

Hey, a 1-0 over Barnsley in front of 24,000 at Wembley was not exactly brimming with talking points...

You are gonna love it, Yorkshire is the sleeping giant of English football. That's why I am glad to see Huddersfield up, hopefully Leeds and the Sheffield clubs can follow, that would really pep up the Prem!

I think we may have found out the secret to winning at Wembley - have nobody show up! Barnsley must have been thinking, wow, we are going to walk out at Wembley in front of 80,000 people, etc., etc,, and then to see a smaller crowd then they would get at their own ground must have deflated them.

I say reduce capacity to 15,000 for our next home fixture AND we wear our away kits!

I remember we should have had a penalty in normal time at 0-0 when a Newcastle defender did everything but catch one of our crosses in the area - everyone saw it except the ref of course.

I remember when I was living in France in 1995 listening to a North London derby on a scratchy BBC World Service feed - between interference from Spanish radio and US Armed Forces Radio, I managed to hear Popescu's winner at a frigid White Hart Lane in front of 28,000 (imagine a North London derby not selling out!)

24 hours later and I still have questions...

Is Oakley-Boothe a kiosk at the mall selling sunglasses?

Isn't Carabao some kind of moose?

I have a Yorkshireman friend. More into cricket than footie. One day at his house, I secretly taught his pre-school daughter to say 'It's grim up north'
