Does anyone know why Turin Fesa and UES were denied a spot in the second division? I rea an article that says they didn't register in time but seems there is more to it. Also what happened to Marte Soyapango?

Both didnt register in time, espesically paperwork wise. Turin FESA my assumption was due to having a second team in the third division. While UES look like are having internal problems.
Marte Soyapango were struggling financially and sold their spot to Vendaval.

Dragon have fired colombian Henry Vanegas and hired ex Universidad de El Salvador Efrain Burgos

Life in Salvadoran football is painfully predictable especially when it comes to club coaches. There is something particularly pleasurable - even fruitful - about change, I mean i get so excited when a coach thats never coached in el salvador. Sadly El salvador football clubs somewhat disappointingly choose to recycle coaches.

Lisandro Pohl and others continue to try and destroy our football from within. The first division clubs with the exception of Águila voted to separate from fesfut. They say they don’t want to release the players for the friendly against Canada. There is nothing positive that will come from this but it will keep Pohl from facing any consequences for talking negatively about Juan Aguilar Chicas.

I always thought Pohl was the worst thing in recent memory to happen to our football and once he became first division president we were in for it. He now might push us even further into the abyss then I originally thought

Also the weekends games have been moved to midweek because the players are pushing back a bit. They will cave soon though because traditionally when the owners threatene their paychecks they cave. Águila though and now Municipal Limeño have said they won’t disband from fesfut

I can see why the clubs have done it, FESFUT have been a shambles ever since Jorge Rajo and his cronies have been in power.
The clubs had to do something, personally i think most of the clubs will change their mind they let their anger cloud their judgement.
Hopefully this is a massive scare and shakeup that el salvador football needs.
Someyhing had to be done, the manner they did however was just wrong.

Rajo has been terrible agreed but they elected him. They could put competent people in charge but they never do. This was poorly done and seems to be about personal conflicts. They are going to essentially disrupt our whole game and I honestly don’t see a positive end. Rajo isn’t going anywhere especially since not all the teams are on board and Pohl will still be running things in the league so how could we possibly get anything positive moving forward

I guess they thought he couldn't have done a bad job and were hoping was some stability sadly the got the opposite if that.
I agree Pohl were purely personal, however the rest of the members joined because they were mad at how bad football in our country had become.
The minor teams started realising how much of a consequences it would be without international and nationally recognised competition and thats why they backflipped.
But the bigger clubs will be a bit more stubborn, however I feel like if Santa Tecla changes their mind FAS, Firpo and Metapan will follow.

First division clubs look to be giving up this poorly thought out idea. Even better news it sounds like Pohl is out as first division president hopefully he will leave our football soon

It’s been a while but from what I gathered by this situation is that Pohl though he could strong arm the Feds after his punishment that stemmed from criticizing the refs during the last game timing is too convenient.

Funny enough he should have remember that the other clubs are broke half the time so this break up was never going to go very far. Of course the biggest victims are the players who had to toot the club horns in order to remain employed and even then still don’t get payed.

The stupidity continues just from the opposite direction.

Fesfut has decided to suspend some of the club administrators

They also said they will be giving the players $500 each for the gold cup. They only recently paid Lara they are being very unprofessional were is all the money going?

That the reason so many of the middle and small teams joined the rebellion because of the incomptency of FESFUT.
Unless a massive protest through journalist, clubs, sporting boards, fans, sponsors and financial big wigs .
Nothing will really change - a massive change needs to happen.

    New changes
Efrain Burgos has become the coach of Dragon
Manuel Carranza is the current coach of Pasaquina
William Renderos Iraheta is the enw coach of Chalatenango
Eraldo Correira is the new coach of Firpo

Sigh the cycle of the same coaches continue Sigh

Isn’t the next election next summer? Seems the clubs can wait a few months and appoint somebody more competent which I don’t have much faith in them doing then all this unnecessary drama. One good thing is it looks like Pohl will be ineligible to run during that time
