I can't wait till some of the national media get into the film and watch Kirk leaving a bunch of throws on the field and checking stuff down. Chris Thompson led in targets says it all.

FYI -- there's an IR spot where you can place players ruled "Out" in the 16 team league. I know your boy Giff is probably going to need to utilize that this week @Harambe Alvinegro

Lol, you haven't had the luxury of watching years of buffalo qbs like Rob Johnson. And I'm glad glennnon crashed and burned , his bitching this offseason made him very easy to root against.

There's no excuse for Fox not to start Trubisky at this point. It's a little disturbing how attached these coaches are to the idea of a solid veteran QB, even when said veteran is trash.

    Hunh.

I thought Glennon was actually one of the better players on the field for the Bears.

Not that I thought he was good, you understand-- but in fifty-odd years of watching, that was maybe the worst effort by a roster that I can recall. They weren't ready to play, and they waited till the game was lost to get started trying-- a whole lotta "let George do it" going on.

First person I'd bad mouth on it would be Fox. They weren't ready and they made Tampa look like the Steelers...

I certainly wouldn't start Trubisky after that; there's no point in teaching him how to lose-- Gleenon's already got that part down, and nobody's going to win in that environment...

Well that was a fairly encouraging win. Really pleased with the fact that we were able to run te ball with some success in this game. The Giants defence are still a force even with injuries to Goodson and Jenkins and Spags had some clever blitzes dialed up. The Giants offence look like us in the Lombardi years though; run game is nonexistent, no pass-protetction, listless and out of ideas. Once we seemed to clue in on some of the misdirection they had early, they didn't have much. Marshall was trash. They should've taken all the Marshall money and thrown it at Whitworth. The Flowers experiment needs to end; the guy was overdrafted based on pure size and length and he sucks. Ansah got inside his chest and bullied him with ease.

Finally someone seeing my opinion on b marsh. It's been a good 2.5 years since he's Been truly interested in football imo. And idk if you heard the podcast but I was surprised how little credit the lions got for the victory. Glover Quinn was outstanding for example.

Seriously there list can make us feel better about the qbs we've had to watch on our teams. Even buffalos back ups over the years have been pathetic. Jeff toole and gibril Hamden might be the two worst NFL players I've ever seen

Lol yep. I remember him because on Madden he was rated as the lowest QB in the game -- like a 38 or something.

I'm kind of used to it, to be honest. I'm not sure what to make of Detroit winning either. Which is why the next game against Atlanta will be critical to see where this team's at right now. And yeah, Marshall is done, whether its interest or age or what, but he isn't contributing anything at the moment. Thought maybe a move to a competitive team might spark him, that isn't happening.

This was actually what came to mind when I watched Cousins and Goff go head to head.

Like I'm watching the same QB play on two different teams. Maybe that's partially because they look similar and have similar schemes between McVay and Gruden, but I'm also thinking it has some truth.

Some big matchups in @Harambe Alvinegro 's league. We have another BigSoccer clasico on slate with @Harambe Alvinegro vs. @MatthausSammer. Loser goes 0-3 and has a huge hole to dig out of. Then we have myself going up against giff in what should be a good one.

Grant has a new excuse for Kirk's struggles and obviously it is not to blame Kirk. Terrelle Pryor's "multiple" drops is the reason why Kirk's #s aren't significantly better. Yet, if you look at the stats (something he loves), Pryor only has ONE drop to his name and the team has a total of 2 (ranked 19th in the league, 1st being the most drops). I had to call him out on this attempt. It's ridiculous.

Pathetic. Maybe he just does it because Snyder owns the station or is his cognitive dissonance that high ? He doesn't even have the stats this year to use for confirmation bias yet he still keeps turning. Even NFL network is starting to turn on Kirk.

Yeah, hard for me to do a trade this early, but I definitely consider doing them as we approach midseason. The panic sets in lol. As @MatthausSammer knows, I always entertain offers.

His station is actually the one that Synder doesn't own lol. After Week 1, he blamed the o-line, which stats show wasn't the issue, and the drops. Last week, it was the drops and how he managed the game well and made 3 throws on the final drive to lead us to the win. What he fails to mention is if he wasn't so awful vs the Rams, we wouldn't need a game winning drive. Also, the three throws he made weren't difficult throws at all and he got plenty of time in the pocket. It's only so much I can handle reading before I unleash on this guy. He simply does not know football and pretends to do so. And his biggest claim to fame is having Kirk do a weekly spot on his radio show and god forbid if he loses that because Kirk sucks and is out of town.

Goff actually flushed the pocket and made plays. The big play to Everett was a scramble out to the right and he kept his eyes down field and found Everett wide open after a break in coverage. Kirk tried doing the same and overthrew Chris Thompson.

Another thing that is hilarious to me is that the Kirk fans complained about not having a running game last year. And then when we run the ball effectively like we did vs the Rams, it was the sole cause for why Kirk's numbers weren't impressive. They say Jay didn't ask Kirk to do much, etc. Even on Cooley's weekly breakdown, he said Kirk left a ton of plays on the field. Doctson should have had 3 catches for 120 on three plays where he was wide open and Kirk checked it down with no pressure. Kirk has already proven he can't overcome adversity and when he isn't 100% comfortable, he can't operate. Put a little pressure on him and he is wildly inaccurate. Change the WRs on him and he isn't comfortable and can't trust them. He's the most high maintenance mediocre QB I've ever seen.
