Probably a bit of everything. I think we'll try and sign another player if he leaves, otherwise it will go to the budget. At the end of the month when the transfer window closes we'll see how much we've spent/received, but it looks like we'll end up with a profit and a considerably stronger squad.
We're only about 4.5 million short when compared to purchases vs sales. 22.325 million in sales and we bought 27.1 million in players. I'm sure we can make up that differences in small sales like Marvin and Bryan. Williams sale would essentially be almost 100% profit. Quick rundown purchases: Piccini 3.5 Matteus oliveira 2 Battaglia 3.5 Bruno Fernandes 8.5 Acuna 9.6 27.1 mill Quick Rundown on Sales: Semedo 14 Sackio 2 Teo 7.825 Paulo oliviera 3.5 Ewerton 1 22.325 Mil
Thanks - but also gotta remember Doumbia who some say is on loan and others say we already bought him for 4M. Then there's loan fees for Coentrao, and even the "free" players like Mathieu, Andre Pinto have signing-on bonuses
Like I said before, I'm totally against these loan deals if there is no transfer option. And this player cost Inter 30M last year. So I doubt they would sell him for cheap
Same here. Player has to have motivation when on loan, hopefully to impress his potential future club.
Teo was sold for 2.5 mil wasn't he? These numbers are always misleading, players like Mathieu and Doumbia undoubtedly got massive signing bonuses. I really really hope we don't get gabigol. No point tbh, no room for him here Edit: oops just saw fdasilvas post.
i'm just talking about purchases vs sales. Doumbia is technically on loan, even though he has a automatic purchase clause, but that won't hit to the books till next year.
SL Colinho trying to hijack the Gabigol deal, like they did Cervi (The World Diver of the Year) and Mitroglou.
They have Jonas, Seferovic, Mitroglou, Jimenez for strikers, Cervi, Salvio, Rafa, Zivkovic for wingers... where's he gonna play, right-back?
Bench lol. God they're so pathetic. Did the same thing with Carrillo and got burned on terrible wages for a guy who had no place on the team.
In JJ's post game conference he did say they are looking for one more offensive minded player before the market closes, so maybe there is something to the Gabigol stuff. I didn't think there was, didn't see the fit. He did also say that if nobody else was brought in, that that would be fine also. So nothing may happen either.
Could be Gabigol. We're also being linked today to Nicolas Castillo, a Chilean currently playing in Mexico for Pumas
I totally forgot but maybe its Gonzalo 'Pity' Martinez from River Plate. There were tons of rumours that he was coming and maybe we were waiting for this playoff match to decide if we were going to get him.
Lazio is in deep negotiations with superstar LB Marvin Zeegelaar. No values reported but hopefully we're looking at something over 10M for such class.
