I have no idea where he is now, but I remember he was a part of that whole Ramon-Emiliano experiment at Oxford United

I remember when Lalo Maradona played for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the APSL. I 'm trying to remember if the current Strikers have any Argentines.

According to Wikipedia, Raponi is now playing in the Paraguayan league.

Valeri's first match in MLS. Seems like he's having fun.

Hey, any Lanus fans in here? I heard a player of yours who was described to me as "El Rodri" is headed to Orange County SC in the USL but will integrate with LAFC for their inaugural MLS season. I have searched just about everywhere and haven't had luck. You guys know who this guy is?

Sebastian Driussi is killing it for Austin FC this year. I think Driussi is a talent and should come back to River while he can still play. I don't know if he has enough to succeed in Europe (he committed the mortal sin of accepting a transfer to the Russian League - kiss of death) but I think he can still ball for River!

From 2017-21 he scored 21 goals in 95 games
From 2021 to today he has scored 22 goals in only 42 games.

Luciano Acosta is also doing well in the MLS this year

It makes me so happy to see Driussi reviving his career. If you offered me a Cavenaghi like redemption and return for Driussi, I'd take that in a heartbeat - he was one of the best home-grown strikers we've had in ages, at least until Julián stole the show.

For a lot of our players, it is nearly impossible not to succeed in the MLS. They could be sandbagging it at times. The MLS will continue to be home to a lot of players who probably are not good enough to hit the heights in Europe but can be great in the MLS. It is a great place to get a payday, play the game with no pressure and live comfortably. So, why not?

Emiliano Terzaghi (ex jugador de Banfield) has been the top scorer in USL League One (third division) for the Richmond Kickers three years running. I wish he'd play at a higher level, but he seems to be happy in Richmond.
