2001 might be more influential but Blade Runner was definitely revolutionary. Harrison Ford: 1979 Apocalypse Now 1980 The Empire Strikes Back 1981 Raiders of the Lost Ark 1982 Blade Runner 1983 Return of the Jedi 1984 Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Blade Runner was definitely more enjoyable to watch than 2001: A Space Odyssey. 2001 was a beautifully made movie, but almost incomprehensible and, in hindsight, a bit silly. I remember seeing the movie, then reading the book and then seeing the movie again, with the book. So two good movies there (Blade Runner and Apocalypse Now, although Blade Runner is better. Apocalypse Now is a bit overrated).
Virtually everybody would disagree, I suspect. Apocalypse Now is a beautifully made movie, but I just don't think it deserves the praise it receives. Now that I think about it, I should watch it again, I might have a better opinion of it.
Absolutely do not watch the "redux". That's a piece of crap. The original is up there with Citizen Kane and Repo Man.
No that's what I paid not worth it imo. Watching Adam Ruins Everything on healthcare right now. Just making me angry
The dude is great. Started watching him back on College Humor. He's only gotten better since. Has a solid Twitch channel if you're into that sorta thing.
God I can't wait to see Atomic Blonde. Hopefully I'm not as let down as by baby driver. They sure know how to make a trailet
I thought that Dunkirk was going to have alot more action and break down what actually happened to cause the dunkirk disaster but, it just didn't really. Was letdown by it in general and was bored at points which shouldn't happen in a nolan ww2 movie. Hence the letdown. Valerian started off really bad but, i enjoyed it as it went on probably because the title character stopped talking as much. He's a really hard character to like. Rihana dancing made the entire movie worth watching and they had a few characters that were humorous. The story is forgettable but, it was enjoyable.
