I don't think we are set up for the future from an attacking perspective. When you factor in Ronnie's age, Bale's injury record and Benz's declined, we are far from sorted up top. If rumours are to be believed (and they shouldn't be) then we're happy selling off Morata (future world class attacking prospect), making money and not finding/investing into Ronnie's successor. But like I said, there's still a month left of the window, so let's see what else happens (if anything).
Morata didn't see a future as a starter here. Last summer he was like he came here with 3-4 years in mind and not just what happens in one season. That tune changed soon. Probably got the feeling ZZ doesn't see him as starting quality plus rumblings over Mbappe. We have Asensio and spent 45 ME on Vinicius so it's not like we are ignoring future. Barca can't get any quality player to come cos all they see is the bench watching MSN. Dembele snubbed them in both summers. While Benz and Bale has had issues, it's not really different in terms of status. Isco hasn't become a 100% starter in four seasons. Morata barely played in big games. So its a hard sell. Let's see whether Mbappe will be convinced.
Maybe the club already sees Asensio as his successor? Vinicius also plays as a left winger. Mbappe can be Benzema's successor. I think you're looking at it wrong. I think the club and Zidane are both looking forward to some variation of 4-4-2 and you're looking at it as a 4-3-3. Isco deserves his starting spot and we're stacked with middlefielders,no reason to be married to the 4-3-3 in the next few years.
I think in the post CR7 era, Zidane will switch to a midfield heavy lineup - possibly the 4-1-4-1 he has experimented with in the past. I think the established attacking players he currently has at his disposal are stopping him from doing this, but I see this in our future.
Swansea want 50 M btw. Everton have made a second bid for Gylfi Sigurðsson, this time £45m. (Source: Sky Sports) pic.twitter.com/US52dpwpZj— Transfer News Live (@DeadlineDayLive) July 24, 2017
well technically you didn't sell him right? Anyway, if you want the money, sell to the English. Everywhere else is more "normal" (depending on if Neymar gets sold or not)

SER: Simeone and Atletico agree contract renewal. Could be either until 2019 or 2020. https://futbol.as.com/futbol/2017/07/25/primera/1500988916_691331.html?autoplay=1 Weird move after reducing it from 2020 to 2018 last year. Maybe a pay raise.
And the Inter option closed down, Conte stayed at Chelsea and had success, Wenger stays at Arsenal. Not many opportunities for him. Gives him security and the option to still leave next summer.
According to PSG's official website, there will be a press conference later today in Miami. 17h00 local time, so 23h00 here in France.
He f*cked up just as much. Can't open a tweet or an article about him on a german medium without tens of "Müller is better" comments. Comes across as if some people hold a grudge against him for possibly playing ahead of Müller. Obviously these things change based on performance, but when Ribery and Robben signed they were welcomed like superstars while Carlo has been busy talking up the James transfer for two weeks or so.
They promised him a new contract and all he asked for. Neymar is disgusting for me personally, but he's got brutal quality as a football player. I would sign him if we could. No joking.
Its legit news coming out right now that Pique will be giving that press conference. Bwahahahahahahahhaaaaaa.... This is just too funny.
